Have just bought nokia 6111 for mother in law but so she can use existing sim I need to unlock from tesco imei 354556016787932. Found site called gsmliberty.took out sim card. first code offered was #pw+9172223355444435+7# which gave code error message then they said try #pw+345166366363275+1# which did not work either. They then say I need to send it in and not to try again! this is Xmas present so any help before then appreciated!

Thanks. Tried it twice (without the spaces and without sim card)). first time code error, second time cannot undo code restriction. Anything else I could try?

Thanks. Have been into local shop who say they are no longer able to unlock Tesco phones. Got in touch with Tesco...they wouldn't take the phone back as it had been opened ....had to put £30 on the card and then they apparently will apply to Nokia for the unlock code and get it to us within 28 days!! Sounds a bit suspicious to me.
Also gave us 50 free texts per month for the next 3 months as a goodwill gesture!
