you can still unlock it, but you need to take it to a shop/market stall to get it unlocked.

I get code error message - do you have any other suggestions please?

I am hoping that my son (11) will use this phone. If its going to cost £15 ish to have it unlocked would I be better getting a new phone for him for a similar price or would that phone be significantly inferior to this 7250i which is appx 5yrs old ?

No joy still. I must be over the 5 attempts now I'm guessing? Is my only option a shop now?
