Morning all, in my usual busy all day rush but couldn't go without leaving some calming vibes for lw along with hugs sticks and spoons for anyone else who needs them.
Making it though another week vibes for Valli along with a supporting hug.

    Will catch up later.

LW,:- reviews:- I have had a 3 page letter from the GP, regarding my type2 review...........what to do and when, ...................I need to ring them, but it ican wait until March when it normally happens, it seems they have now moved it to be inline with your month of birth.

    Level Three...

  • Morning all. Late start today, yesterday was manic and only basic S&S was achieved. Oh, and a home cooked meal which went down quite well. First time I've tried making a 'Sticky Asian Sauce'. It needs a bit of tweaking but should become an easy staple for all sorts.

So, my flying today is Hall,Stairs and Landing and today's personal list of Bedroom and Dressing room.

But also need to do a days work so better get some skates on.

Gorgeus sunny but very chilly day out there. DD wasn't too keen about going to get the bus though at 7.30! Still I got the beds stripped, WM run and washing hung up, HHI then out for an hour's jog /slide about.
Natty has obviously been spying on me and knows that I cut out the hall and stairs when I run out of time....so that's most weeks then. So today I have made a supreme effort to follow the list as far as possible (don't have a porch!) and not get distracted. Apart from topping up bird feeders that is. Off to Mr S in a minute as I have some vouchers :money: then to get my hair cut. Veggie chilli with dumplings prepped as it will then be a mad rush to get back and off to volunteer for a couple of hours. Sticky Asian sauce sounds yummy FBO.
    Catch you later.

Thanks all; I've at least climbed down off the ceiling today! I usually see Dr F, but there are no appts with her to be had (wonders if she's on mat leave again) so Dr B is the other female GP - there is no way on this earth I'll see a male GP!! I'll ask at the first appt - which is in fact a meds review - what's going on. Also need to find out what's happening re my morphine, ie how do I order it, as they no longer put "controlled drugs" on the repeat request form. (Some whizzo new NHS regulation, apparently).

Mr LW was going to slope off and read his book while I attempted a little WiiFit this morning - so he got told to take a duster with him, and do the items in the bedroom that I can't lift - viz a very large wolf statue (mine), and a plaster bust of Beethoven (his) and a few other bits. :D He says he's done the whole of the two dressers also - I shall go and check in a bit. ;)
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Hi all

I've been AWOL for a while I'm afraid, combination of illness and a few days of fairly extreme work stress / anxiety. Feeling a lot better now, although the situation isn't resolved yet.

Today so far I've been out and run a few errands, put the bedding in the WM and done a little tidying around. Having a fairly quiet day but will try and get Level 1 done at least!

Hugs to all who need them, hope everyone has a good day!

So sorry to be posting this but feeling awful - think I've picked up J's cold/flu as shivery, achey, sore eyes, sore throat etc PLUS feeling worried about lack of money due to me being the only one bringing money in. Haven't done housework for 2 days and would really rather curl up in bed with the quilt on top of me!

Why is money such a huge worry? J hasn't signed on (been off for 8 months now) - I've told him if he doesn't get the job then he seriously needs to consider signing on; not fair for him to expect me to carry both of us on my little bit of money. I did say I'll work full time in town but he won't let me do that. He said we'll deal with him signing on if we come to it and he doesn't get the job. Bah. Men. Stupid stupid pride. In the meantime I'm doing my head in worrying.

Flying wise, um, ..... put dishes in DW. Does that count?
