Oh wouldn't you just believe it; carpet fitter has just rung so I'm packing my stuff up again!

    Typical :wall:

    Happy birthday Lynne xxx

I've got an eye test in an hour so need to be out soon. Have thoroughly cleaned the conservatory today. Evicted piggies into garden - they had a good chomp on the grass - and got the big vac going and got behind everything. Once they are "migrated" out permanently at Easter -ish, I will bleach all the window frames and blinds.

Sorted boiler service, finished homework and sorted some gubbins for bin day tomorrow.

Found a holiday, I think. Next two people I spoke to both took it very negatively. What's it to do with them anyway? Hoping DD passport will come today and I'll pop up and book it tomorrow. My mum is coming with us but my friend and her girls are not. If all goes to plan, we'll be there in 4 weeks!

I guess I could sort my college bag out before I set off...

    Away with the fairies
  • Just off to wash the dishes and give the kitchen a shine. Things not looking too bad here today.
    Even found my Flylady book!
So, with a bit of luck, I'll keep to the straight and narrow!
Keeping two cats and myself on a small budget, and enjoying life while we're at it!

    Evening

I have spent the whole day doing admin type stuff either for me, or job 2, and it is now all up to date, I think!!
    Ironig is done and away
2 work style pairs of trousers turned up, re ironed and ready to wear to work.
Admin work, caused the shredded to over heat, so that is currently turned off at the wall, emptied, and cooling down.
I did hoover around down stairs
and get the bins back in so I hope that is enough for today...........

Lynne your me time sounds ideal enjoy xx

Glad MiniMoo's passport has turned up and I hope the holiday is fabby.

OH collected Kelpie from the groomer's so he looks and smells fabby and I got an extra hour to sort my office and the Christmas stuff. I can't believe the difference it's made - I can walk across the room again rather than dodging around stuff. Marvellous. Now sorting paperwork in the dining room while tumbling towels, with a very tired dog in his favourite nest in the corner. He's going to be completely cream crackered after his hydrotherapy tomorrow morning. If anyone saw the article on the cat who has hydrotherapy in the Dailie Male yesterday, that's the place where Kelpie goes.
    Better is good enough.

Flyladies don't f**l; they just have so much to do they don't achieve all they wanted.

All I've achieved since my earlier post is to zip back to MIL's flat, let the carpet fitters in, managed to get some work done as I'd taken my laptop. After an hour, one of the fitters summoned me. The carpet measuring man had made an error so the carpet was a couple of inches short in the bedroom and couldn't be joined as it was a trip hazard. Nor had he written down about doorway bars. I summoned Mr N from work as he had the paperwork; outshot of it was, the fitter rang management emphasising that it was the measuring man's fault entirely (true) and the customer had a removal van arriving 10am on Saturday. Result is they are coming back tomorrow. I'm booked at uni all day so Mr N will have to let them in.

Then I came home, had a cup of tea and fell asleep on the sofa.
Now I'm going to cook dinner and crack on with that report. Flying? no chance.

  • Toochoosy..Don't be harsh on yourself, life gets in the way sometimes , you have done fabby!
Narc..oh to have new carpets. Don't think it's worth it here..3 cats like to claw them sigh. The boys bedroom one we had put down and just 3 weeks later, I knocked the iron on the floor (no room to iron elsewhere ..not that I do it often). So it has a nice carpet covering it. Lucky most of the house is rugs lol I am rather clumsy!
