Toochoosey - try not to beat yourself up over it, just do a little bit as you can :)

I'm about to attack my list. I really ought to take out the rubbish first, but I really don't want to go out to the bin store, especially in the dark. Would be better if my neighbours all understood the function of a bin, but they don't :(

Early night calls after two nights of waking up at 3am.
Sympathy. Never mind waking up at 03:00, I'm still lying there trying to fall asleep at 03:00 most nights.

NERVOUS WRECK ALERT - FEEL FREE TO SKIP.
Mr LW had a phone call from GP surgery today - they want me in for an "arthritis review". No idea what that is, I was dx'd with RA in 1999 and never been called for an "arthritis review" before. Am now scared rigid. Couldn't make the first 2 dates they offered (dog-sitting commitments) so going 14th Feb. At least I'll be seeing Dr B (my 2nd choice of GP). I already have an appt with Dr B on 25th Jan, but apparently I still have to have this "arthritis review" as well. :( Been shaking like a leaf all afternoon as Mr LW had to be in the same room as me while he dealt with the call (usually I leave the room if he's on the phone) to check dates and ensure it was with a Dr I could cope with seeing.

Feel like just shoving my head in a bucket of water and drowning myself. :(

    Sorry, needed to offload.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

I'm going to leave it here for this evening - no point having a clean flat if I spend all my time working to pay for it or cleaning it and none of my time enjoying it! Night all.

Coping vibes coming your way LW. Maybe the first appointment with Dr B can help to put your mind at rest about the second one. Even better, he may agree that it's not necessary.

Not a lot achieved here today apart from the dailies - just. Oh I did empty out the crumbs from the toaster as it was the easiest small appliance to lay my hands on - tick off the listy for me! ;)
Errrr and that was it. I will try harder tomorrow....:o
  • Evening all,

Hope you have had a lovely birthday Lynne, it sounded bliss.
I've been keeping up with the laundry and dishes, but that's about it.
Onwards and upwards, tomorrow is another day.
I'm off for a run now, because I'm unhinged.
    Try not to worry LWx

Mr N has those periodically, I think in recognition that the specialist sees him once in a blue moon but the GP does a basic 'how's it going' and asks if the medication is OK. I know you like doctors even less than I do, and the whole process, but hopefully it won't be too alarming. Silly thing to say I know, but 'review' these days seems to be a check on whether the medication is ok.

Lonewolf - sorry to hear about the apt causing you so much stress. Imagine it's simply a case of 'how are you managing, could we do anything else for you' - but perhaps you could write a note to your doctor to ask more about what it is - if it is your usual dr he will know about your anxiety.
  • Agree with all the above LW, maybe when you go to the docs next week you could ask what's involved. OH and you just reminded me that DS1 has his treatment next week.

I did a bit of flying in the kitchen last night after a full days paid stuff and an hours gym class so it doesnt look too bad. Renovations underway in utility so that doesnt help. DS1 has a new desk so the old one is sitting on the landing! We should really ebay it, although it was only a cheapie temporary job.

Right best get a move on, sounds like its pouring down out there! Working at home this aft and I have loads to do, getting behind with job no. 2 so I need to get on with it.
