Hi all
I have been a bit awol this week. Lots of paid stuff.
Well done on tackling your worry Loudmouth.
And Mumof2 if you did get a full time job might that mean that you then solve the problem and then DH doesnt have to work? How would you feel about that? Would he do all the domestic stuff while you were working? My advice is to think carefully about that one.
Been suffering a bit with the anxiety so been doing lots of exercise which really helps. Out at paid stuff no. 1 this morning then I either do some flying this aft and work tomorrow morning or the other way around. Its easier to fly when the house is empty so that might be the best option.
Right - washing over airer, tea is fish and chips tonight so thats easy, need to get myself moving and get a shower.
Its Friday ladies - not long till the weekend - sending positive/healing vibes to those who need them x0 -

I got nowt done yesterday, was late at work then distracted by worries.. Will get nothing done tonight either as I'm going out straight after work. Will have to catch up at the weekend, but I've also got a LOT of sewing to do - I want to make a new dress to wear to a wedding in ~ 3 weeks time, but haven't even started altering the pattern yet... (Yes, I do have a backup!)0

Morning flyladies. Seems a lot of you still have worries, so hugs from me.
Not a good start today for us. Some waste of space broke into DHs business during the night.
So far today I have done the ironing. About to get dressed and walk the dogs before the paid stuff.
This weekend will be spent getting ready for our kitchen and bathroom being gutted next week.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Good morning fly ladies, it looks as though I may peg out today! One wash load nearly finished and it's a bit blowy outside!
Thanks for today's list, I am almost through it. Trying to be finished by ten this morning.
Jazee sorry to hear about scum bag breaking in. Hope no damage was done.
I fully intend to find an easy Spanish for beginners course.
I fully intend to find a window cleaner and some kind person to clean my oven.
Thank you to all who were behind me prodding me to make that phone call !0 -
Morning
Sorry to hear about the break in
So I need to do something about this house! What do I waste all my time on? (Internet...) I'm going to graft for the next 2 hours to get it all in a reasonable state, then stop for lunch.
Have put tent pegs out to hold the Guinea pig run in place - saw a cat spying on them :eek::eek:
Kitchen first!Bossymoo

Loudmouth have you tried futurelearn, they do lots of free 'taster' courses?
Jazee what a pain, the bu**ers.
Mr N went to MIL flat at 6.45am and the cooker arrived 9.15, typical.
One load through DW.
One batch biscuits made to sustain us (and helpers) through next couple of days.
BIL unfortunately can't get much time off work; he's arriving 2am tonight/Sat morning and going home on Sun. Bit disappointed really but that's what shiftwork at MrT does.
List in hand, now off to MIL current flat to see how packing is going. Bit alarmed she arranged to meet a friend tomorrow, forgetting what day the removal van is coming (tomorrow) aagghh.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Morning all. Very sorry to hear about the break-in, Jazee, and hope nothing irreplaceable was taken or damaged.
Anyone looking for a free online course might want to take a look at this link :money: They have all sorts, from Beginners' Spanish/Italian/Dutch and First Aid for Babies and Children (but not dogs) to Understanding Nuclear Power!!!
Apologies for mostly being MIA this week. The constant grey mist got me down, and I have also got a very painful arthritic shoulder and no GUAG. But the washing is up to date, I have S&S'd the bathroom and kitchen daily and emptied the bins regularly, and I have managed to file away most of the papers that were cluttering up my study - a lot of them ended up in the recycling FLIIIIIING!. Also took stuff from DH's man cave to the CS FLIIIIIING!- it's looking a lot better in there - and took DH back to hospital yesterday to have his 7-day ECG pack removed. He has showered this morning and I'm washing the bedding
Today the sun is shining and the sky is blue, and although it is cold, it is very pleasant outside. I might even persuade DH to go for a short walk round the block and get some fresh air. We are thinking of going out for lunch because I am fed up with being stuck indoors.
Will have a :coffee: and must do some reading first, though...
(((Hugs))) spoons and sticks all round, as needed. Catch up later x0 -
Sorry to hear about the break in jazee.
Hugs all, getting ready for work, jacket pots for lunch do they can cook while I'm out.
Will catch up later. XSPC~12 ot 124
In a world that has decided that it's going to lose its mind, be more kind my friend, try to Be More Kind0 -
Aaaaannddd relax!
I've been busy! Rehomed lots of gibble, DW & WM been on, cleaned kitchen and 3 sinks and loos, dusted and vacced LR, DR and hall, put away last of groceries and sorted some recycling.
Having lunch and a :coffee: now, then I will go see to my desk.
I've sat the icing on a sunny window to soften, and I might see if I can make an Xbox controller out of it for The Cake.
We have done the party bags already - just so i know at least one job is done, and I have plenty of sweets and little gifts for my clingfilm game. I have his birthday card ready and two small gifts. DD is at a party after school and I said I'd take him to look at football kits and grab a McD's while we are there.
Will hang the laundry up then get on with my desk!Bossymoo
