I'm immensely familiar with the t&c! If you were able to use the phone wef from 2nd June then that is the connection date - whichever of the two sims was in it! Under the legal t&c your claim would run 120/180/240/300/360 days from that date. Each claim should have been made under the legal t&c using the first bill after each of those particular dates - arriving there within 30 days of its own date. That may well fall outside the dates THEY are using. It all therefore depends on whether the rejected claim met the legal t&c. If it did, send a LBA and then sue if needbe. If it didn't, you're stuffed on that and all subsequent claims!

Is there any chance this thread could be made into a sticky? It has been asked previously by at least two people and there are so many threads on cashbacks now - particularly cpw/E2Save/Onestopphoneshop/OSPS/ThePhonespot - that I (and others) keep having to refer people to it. If it makes a few people stop, think and do proper research before jumping into cashback deals AND helps others who have fallen foul of them it has to be helpful and worthwhile!

does anyone know if e2save record their calls? when asked they gave me the loughbrough address but i'd rather send to the postcode given CW19DY thats the one given on the cashback slips so legally should be safest, dont want them to argue out of that by saying they informed me on the phone to send to loughbrough
oh and on the web it gives the other crewe address, hmm

Unless they put it in writing, I'd stick to the originally given (though there's a space after the "1"!). Check there's not a different one if you download forms from your account (better than the ones they send to be even safer in my view!).

It's tricky between the two, but I think you'd be covered with either provided it tracks, since they have specifically instructed you to use one then the other. That's the real issue as far as I'm concerned. Relying on their automatic emails is extremely dangerous - as is going by the on-line account dates (although people should recognise immediately whether they are right or not provided they really understand the legal t&c and the ones the company uses - it's plain that at least many and perhaps most don't!).

I've just read through this and the other threads and I'm not sure where best to post this. I logged into http://www.mycashbackclaim.co.uk/ and the instructions under the cashback tab could not be clearer:

    Send month 4 claim between 16th Apr 2008 and 16th May 2008 £84.00
    Send month 6 claim between 15th Jun 2008 and 15th Jul 2008 £84.00
    Send month 8 claim between 14th Aug 2008 and 13th Sep 2008 £84.00
    Send month 10 claim between 13th Oct 2008 and 12th Nov 2008 £84.00
    Send month 12 claim between 12th Dec 2008 and 11th Jan 2009 £84.00

Sounds easy! If I follow those rules, will I still get stuck? The address on the vouchers linked from that page is the Crewe Po Box 337.

    ******** addition *********

Oops, just found some answers here: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=677235

So if the Crewe offices are gone, where should we send claims? Vouchers with phone have Crewe Po Box 462 address.

It's a price-match deal. I would send to the 337 address. As for "clearer"; it may be crystal - but is it correct? Sometimes the dates are... more often they aren't. Follow the t&c; if the dates look ok subject to their "interpretation" doing that (provided you follow the right ones!) you will know.

I actually spoke to someone at e2save customer services today, regarding the cash back address. The reason being was that I had sent in my cash back claim by special delivery, and the Royal Mail tracking site said it would take an extra day to be delivered as it was being redirected.
Anyway, the NEW address for cash back claims is (according to e2save customer services)... E2SAVE CLAIMS, PO BOX 8840, LOUGHBOROUGH, LE11 9EL.
    Hope this helps !!!
    ps. all thanks appreciated !!

It's useful; but I still send to the original address - apart from one older contract where downloaded forms now give another address (even though things are redirected from that one to Loughborough). I don't trust what any of them tell me over the phone (not that I've bothered calling them for about 7 months since it became clear they were playing games) - only what I have in writing so I can sue if required (groundrules!).
