You may not need to phone the cashback helpline at all. e2save, OneStopPhoneShop and other companies within the Carphone Warehouse group cover most issues on their www.mycashbackclaim.co.uk website. If you tap in your mobile no. and transaction no. you can even see when your claims are due and the status on any outstanding claim.
I only found out this info after I was on hold for a long period of time earlier this week. BTW, if you're a OSPS customer, then the only way you'll get into the website is by pretending your an e2save customer - another quirk I had to find out.0 -
Complete waste of time. Do that and follow it and you're just as likely to be tricked into doing it wrong as right.
Put the legwork in; read the threads. If you have an unjustified claim refusal, send a LBA and then sue. Of course, it's up to you to understand EXACTLY how to do it right - and all the answers are on here and rather more reliable than anything you're likely to get from their website or by telephone.0 -

I have warned people about this for a long time now. Proves my point should it still require proving. I refer you back to my last post above.0

Maybe this is why there are problems:
Carphone Warehouse has closed down the back office operation for its OneStopPhoneShop online retail business in Crewe.
The retailer has now completely merged OneStop’s operations with its sister site, e2save, as it closed down its customer services for cashback, operations for cashback, finance and human resources departments.
Carphone has said the OneStop brand will continue trading as it looks to grow its market share within online retail.
Staff affected by the closure have been told they can relocate to the e2save offices in Loughborough 65 miles away or in Carphone's retail business. A Carphone spokeswoman said the company expects the majority of staff to stay within the business.
The downsizing has come as little surprise after some operations were closed in July, including the sales department.
Carphone Warehouse bought the online retail business in March 2005 for £15m, at a time when it was the second biggest online retailer behind Dial-A-Phone.
They prabably feel that they have excellent systems in place to deal with all thier calls and customer service issues (NOT), so can reduce the amount of staff required.
I have also heard a rumour that they may be looking at selling CPW and its other companies, as John Caudwell did with 4U.
A possibilty is Vodafone, but will probably go to a private equity company.
I would be extremely concerned about all this, as from what is posted on this forum things may get even worse.
Also to get the best price they need to show a constant increase in sales, so the offers may look very good at this present time, but will cash-back be forthcoming in the future?
Especially as they are sill not sticking to Ofcoms guidlines of 60 days to redeem your vouchers!0 -
