I changed my mind and went for it. Won't tell you the total volume of damage ... but it did include a bag of sweeties and some oven chips.

I did pick up 4 bananas and a 1Kg of mixed frozen veg though.

Well done PN - sounds like a productive trip:D I've had my morning snooze and contemplating going to the post box before it starts raining (snowing?). It's bleeding freezing here and I'm blaming that on being hungry again despite brekkie only being 3 hours ago :o

Meg that fruit looks lovely, but that'd do me four breakfasts, at least.:o

Btw, is it only me, or does anyone else actually dislike crisps?:D

You're welcome to them; Mr LW usually buys a packet if we visit the pub (there are two we can get to easily that are wheelchair-accessible :T ) and he always expects me to share the packet with him. I usually have one or two just to keep him happy, but honestly, I'd sooner just enjoy my beer or wine on it's own. :o

  • I never buy crisps myself and am perfectly well able to resist "yer standard crisps" when waved in front of my nose.

But - some "posh" type - roasted veggies and the like type crisps - and that does become more difficult:rotfl:

Decided to add potion of swede and carrot to my omelette to get another 2 of the five a day. Was very tasty but very crumbly LOL needed a spoon to eat it.
