Does anyone know anything about calories? I had a message from a friend that she had run my my menus through myfitnesspal and they were seriously lacking in calories. Ive had a look and she seems to be right
but I think their figures must be out somewhere. I don't think theres anyway that this lot can come to below 700 calories. That is for the whole day. Same with yesterdays.

Well ... your plates were stacked HIGH ... but, calories wise there's a lot of veg in there.

I'd be surprised if that volume were 700, but there are some surprises. e.g. my pie 1/4s are 350, giant Yorkshire puddings are about 350. So you can just be "lucky" in choices....

List what you've actually eaten today .... I'll tot mine up, I bet mine looks grim (high).

    Calories today:
    300 egg/crust of toast/marg
    250 beans/toast/HP
    600 curry/rice
    350 sweeties
    140 crisps
    ===
    1640

I've eaten more meals than usual though today - and I don't have sweeties every day. So it'll balance out (although I think I remember saying that after the 1000 calorie food I ate the other day too).

I put that into noom coach and came up with 804 calories.

I've had fifteen (4 fruits, 11 vegetables), maybe sixteen if nori (seaweed) counts and a total of 1500 calories today overall according to noom.
I am a vegan woman. My OH is a lovely omni guy :D

Today has been a low food day. Didn't feel up to much this morning so packed a small lunch and didn't finish. On the plus side for the current in thing it was mainly fruit and veg. Total food at work 2 oranges, quarter of a thick slice of beef, about three fork fulls of leftover roast veg, HM plain yoghurt with berry puree and three cups of tea. At home I forced myself to eat another orange and a pack of three mini sesame snaps before walking to my evening class. Not long home working my way through a tin of ravioli.

I still think 6.5 miles between leaving work and getting dinner should make me hungry but it never does.

On the subject of crisps if they're ready salted or cheese and onion and they're there I'll eat them but if I don't buy them I don't miss them.

They're not for "regular people", normal everyday people. Those things are for OCD level obsessed people - and programmed with data that is probably unachievable for "normal people" ifswim.

Fanatics will love it because it's telling them the mantras they read in their monthly Health Magazines ..... doesn't mean they're any good.

Work on the basis that if you're not overweight and don't wish to gain/lose weight of any significant amount, then it's not for you ... and you're doing all right without it.

Free yourself of 3 minutes' checking a day ... and in that 3 minutes microwave yourself something tasty :)

There are no Pot Noodles in heaven.

Quick quiz: Guess who randomly shoved two "thick & fluffy" crumpets in the toaster, then smothered the tops with chocolate spread?
