2) havinbg read that thread, start a *new* thread of your own but only if you need additional help

They wont "send bailiffs" unless you lose a court case. We havent any idea even who this company is, what you appealed with exactly, if you have proof of frustration of contract (an accident by definition being unforseen)

Not sure if this is of any use to you but if you receive a PCN in the post (info obtained through the DVLA) from Vehicle Control Services Ltd who, in my case are contracted by Southend Airport to send out parking and traffic violation charges, the online payment website is myparkingcharge

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking[/FONT]
[FONT=Times New Roman, serif] companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done they should still complain to their your MP, citing the new legislation.

Surely you aren't suggesting people pay these or that they are 'traffic violations'?

I have had my appeal turned down by myparkingcharge.com. I appealed due to poor signage and excessive charge (60 rising to 100 if unpaid within 2 weeks).

Do I have any other course of action now or do I have to pay up?

Nobody here will ever suggest that you pay a scammer.

YEs, read the NEWBIE sticky and then start your own thread rather than piggybacking on one that was started in 2017. That way you will receive bespoke advice for your issue. On your new thread you should answer - where is the car park, /who is the PPC? To whom did you appeal?
