Morning all
I am always a bit envious about talk of YS bargains. Our nearest Asd@ and Tesc@ are 20 miles away so I am limited to the local Co#op which hardly reduces anything anyway.
Bob its a whole different world isnt it? My colleague at work shops at Waitr@se and won't eat things if they are from Li@l. He thinks there must be something wrong with cheap food and that you get what you pay for. It makes me laugh.
We didnt have the heating on much last night so the house is freezing this morning! Small load of washing over the airer, tea will go in sc in a minute.
Been a bit quiet at one of my jobs so I am hoping I have more to do today, it makes it a very long morning otherwise. Off to check the online banking next.
Oh and Foxgloves I love my carpet sweeper, free to use, does a great job and if you go at it with a bit of enthusiasm it's a free workout too!0 -

Morning everyone.
Today should hopefully be fairly relaxed for me.. Well this morning should be. After I've dropped the boy off at school I'm going to pop round my friends for a coffee and catch up.
After school I have an appointment for me, rehearsals for the boy for a show he's in and another of his extra curriculars. I think he's going to be very tired these evening.
Today's to do list:-
- Make boys packed lunch.
- Put petrol in car £20.00.
- Meet up with friend and catch up.
- Phone payroll and query using annual leave as pay while on sick.
- Take boy to rehearsals/then extra curricular. Make up snack pack for him and he can have a later tea. (finishes rehearsals at 6pm).
- Pull something out freezer for tea.
- Have breakfast and lunch at home.
- Check online banking and skim accounts.
- Purchase passes and go through topcashback.
If I think of anything else I'll add it on.
Have a good day everyone.Chandelier.

Morning folks
Welcome to any newbiesAlways room aboard the dfw bus!
After dreaming about my brisket dinner all day, I had a sudden realisation as I left work that I had neglected to bring my house keys and OH wouldn't be home from work until 9.30 :eek:
Luckily one of my colleagues who I'm quite good pals with lives fairly nearby and was leaving at the same time so I went to his and stole some of their dinner :rotfl:
The brisket was unscathed and by the time OH was home with me in tow, we threw some wraps together for him so we are still unbroken on our takeaway/eating out embargo :T
Today's mission:- B/L/D from stores
- Check work emails in case my new curtains arrive - done
- Bit of housework
- Gym at 9.30 - done
- Keep heating to a minimum
- Order yarn for commission
- Do something nice with OH as it's our Saturday (just to confuse DNMS more
) - done
- No drinkies
- Early night
- Take stuff to the cs - done
- OH doing an extra hour of teaching - done
Have a good one all

* Iron only what needs doing, hang the rest straight away
* Wash a load on 30 degree quick wash
* Meet a friend for a cuppa later as I'm aware that when my mood drops I tend to shut out the rest of the world. Will use costalot points so won't spend cash
* Kids to swimming later, will leave purse in the boot of my car and will take some fruit from home for them as they're always hungry after school.two apples ready in the car

* Check fpl/lucky/numberplate
* Search on inbox$'s
* Withdraw from p1nec0ne£5 amaz0n ordered

* Make families lunches for tomorrow
** Cleaned the kitchen bin out in the bath with some stardrops, I've been putting it off for ages as its really fiddly at the bottom but it was smelly bleughhhh but done now and left in the bath to drain. Will wipe out properly later to dry it off.:)
** A 2nd load in to the washing machine on the quick wash, and radiator shuffle done
** Applied make up & perfume from my use up box
Sticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.

Still struggling to keep up, but enjoying the moments when I sit down with a cuppa and read what you're all up to.
YS reductions around here are pathetic and not worth seeking out, much like the reductions Dawn has. We have most of the major supermarkets locally, no Waitrose, though :cool:
I'm lacking focus this week.
Today's plan:
NSD
Walk all journeys
BLD from stores
Stick to the meal plan
Slice and freeze HM bread
Chop and freeze leftover peppers
Minimal heating, we have jumpers and blankets
PAD
HWB for children's beds
FPL, Ashleigh
Entertain us for free, we have plenty of books, board games, dvd's, craft projects etc
Educate children for free
Possible light stove, put kettle on top for free hot water
Set DW & WM to run overnight
Dry washing on airier
RMS
Tidy house = tidy mind
Sweep entire house
Tidy living room
Give the kitchen a good tidy and clean
Keep 4 email accounts clear
Hopefully having written it here will motivate me to get on.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

Morning
Have been smashing into the cleaning this morning. Smug Bob face.
* Both big beds stripped and one load on already. Load two waiting next to machine.
* Remade DS bed, need to wait for the washing to be through to do ours (only own two mattress protectors)
* Brought the breakfast tray down.
* Unloaded DW then put it on a super hot wash empty to get rid of the crud.
* Handwashed breakfast dishes then packed away.
* Hoovered the downstairs loo and utility/kitchen floors.
* Washed floors of the above. Dried floors with old towel.
* Cleaned undersink cupboard.
* Bin out.
* Recycling out.
* Splashback cleaned and sink/draining board shined.
* Radiator shuffle and packed away dry clothing.
Non cleaning
* Checked both sets of banking
* Replied to a customer enquiry
* Keep DD entertained! Mainly involving letting her untidy what I'd tidied
Left to do,
* Hoover upstairs and lounge/dining rooms.
* Food shopping, plus post two letters - DONE
* Go and get my 150 point coupon scanned on route - DONE
* School run
* Make steak and roast veggies for dinner. Portion enough to do steak in leftover gravy/veg with puff pastry lid in the freezer for tomorrow
* Relist eBay sales that have ended.
Back later.
