Greetings all, here we are for another happy week of Flying - I've already done a WM load of Mr LW's clothes. ;)

LW, my shower screen leaves a lot to be desired, can a steamer be used on a shower screen do you know?
Sorry, I'd logged off by the time you posted yesterday - anyways, YES - I use the steam cleaner on my acrylic shower screen and it really does help to shift soap scum. On weeks when I'm not getting the steam cleaner out for anything else, I give the screen the once-over with white vinegar. HTH. :o

    Welcome aboard Jenni_fer :hello:

We got a reasonble start on the lounge yesterday, so lets at least start the week with the official list (I usually do this, then wander "off-liste" by about Wednesday).

Hi all! Second week - woohoo!

Work day today so hopefully this evening I can make a start on my bedroom as it missed out on any cleaning apart from the basics last week. I will try to do 15minutes decluttering at a time.

Done my daily bits apart from hoovering which I'll do when the children have gone home. Planning on sorting out my plastics drawer in the kitchen with one of the childminded children - he'll love it! (Sorting cups into correct colour etc v educational!). Also going to tackle the hotspots in the kitchen. Will do today's list tomorrow as living room is looking ok at the moment.

    Have a good day all!

  • Hi, not a regular postee, but have been following and flying for 3weeks now, so impressed with what a difference it's made to my house, so thank you.

Barred from working on farm or building today as hubby is fussing cause I have a cold, so completed today's list and going make a start on paperwork.

Again thank you so much :)
  • This cold has really floored me.

I've made the beds, unloaded the TD and had my lunch. I have my feet up now, under a blanket with the heating on and I'm still cold. Still, it's only a cold and it will pass so I shouldn't grumble :)

Looking at the photos of Central London this morning made me  - I was feeling anxious and claustrophobic just looking at all those swathes of people.

Dinner is easy roast chicken dinner, which DH can do as he is at home tonight. Feet up now until school pick up x

Work is getting in the way. I've stuck my orchids in the utility room sink for a bath, dealt with some rubbish/recycling and done a load of washing. Need to do some handwashing at some point.

Hallo - I'm in again. Slow start, just had lunch. Boxed up more stuff for the move this morning....as quickly as the toddler unboxed it. She's very <cough> 'helpful' <cough>

Everything seems to be in the lounge so if I can actually *find* the sofas I'll start there! :rotfl:

Phew! It's taken hours but the only bits that haven't been dusted are the picture rail and ceiling light because I'm now too kna**ered to get the step ladder and deal with them, but I've done a few other things that I sort of thought might as well be done while I was doing the list. I've still got the dog's blankets and beds to shake out which I can now that it's stopped raining for a bit.

The room looks a lot better than it has since I last spring cleaned it. Thanks Valli!
    Better is good enough.

Perhaps a bit late, but I would like to join in for the first time this week. Since my youngest started crawling I've been struggling to get anything done as I can't take my eyes off for a second! Hope to get at least up to level 2 done today :)

    Rant alert!

We arrived at horse piddle at 08.55 for DH's 09.00 "appointment". His name was written up on the board, together with the exact time of arrival and "echo[cardiogram]" + the other procedure he was expecting to have done. We sat and waited until finally he was finally called in to see a consultant at 12.55. The big boss man (actually, he was smaller than me, but full of his own importance) said that he had seen DH's most recent echo result from Christmas Eve and that it was reasonably good. He asked DH how he was now - he is clearly still unwell - then listened to his chest and said he should go home and come back next Monday :mad::mad:
According to this consultant, the procedure which was attempted last Friday (unsuccessfully) should not have been done without DH stopping one of his medications beforehand :eek::eek:
What a waste of 4 hours plus travel time and parking charges :mad::mad:

    Rant over.

It's not all bad news today, though - I am going to take the afternoon off in honour of the fact that I have just found out that I have passed my first college assignment with more leeway than I could ever have hoped for :D

Well done to everyone who has been flying hard this morning. I might just manage to put away the Christmas decorations before I go out to the GP surgery for my blood pressure check-up. It might be a bit higher than usual after this morning's fiasco...
