It wouldn't work, one has just one big pocket, the other has a divider. But the both zip close, essential to keep your purse safe.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

First day back at work but am going to do flying before I go. Going for a walk first so need to organise bags etc. Found out last week I have underactive thyroid so will stop beating myself up for not doing much and being so lazy. Your lists will keep me on track and stop me feeling overwhelmed.
Have a good week guys. don't know when I'll get back on but will try to read (on phone - trying to cut down time on computer):rotfl:0 -
Good Morning All
Been up since silly o'clock with DS - he still has a very heavy cold, and I have caught it too. Throat feels full of razor blades so I'm drinking honey and lemon water.
Got a short list of things to do today, then I might have a nap later and try and shake this off. I just don't have time to be under the weather!
Jazee and Mr Ionafan - sending positive hospital appointment vibes your way x
Welcome to all newbies xx
I hope Frizzle and Nicki are okay they have both been AWOL for ages x
Have lovely days all xxMFW

Morning all,
I'm in this week....trying to keep on top of the house now building work is almost complete (and I have no excuse anymore lol!).
Have already hoovered the sofa off this morning, swapped all cushions over and put clean throws on. Hoping to get at least all level 1 done (I used to be a level 3 girl but baby/toddlers has put a stop to that!!).
Thanks for posting0 -
Good luck at the horse piddle, Jazee.Narc0lepsy wrote: »And just to show my age, yet another celebrity bites the dust - anyone else remember Peter Sarstedt? Shame.
His younger sister was in my class at school. I didn't believe her when she said her brother was a pop star and showed me his photo.Have 4 hellebores that I must plant tomorrow. Accidental purchase...
DH has made breakfast and we will take it with us when we set off early to avoid the schools traffic and get a place on the horse piddle car park.
Before we go, I need to photocopy some pages to read, rather than carry a huge book.
Perhaps I should take the birthday cards to write too!
Will put the boxes of decorations away later...0 -
Thank you for the new week's list Valli,
I need to get the decorations down. DH was ill yesterday, so ill he could not get out of bed:cool:. I went to paid work yesterday (absolutely manic) and was shattered. I beat you to bed ATB, I was asleep by 8.50pm. DH jumped out of bed at 5.30 "fully recovered". He has to be in Bristol by 9.30 and is going by train. The tube strike is on so this is not simple as we live the wrong side of London for Paddington.
I'm fed up with the kids - old and young. Nobody lifted a finger to do anything yesterday while DH was horizontal. So far this morning I have emptied bins, put away clothes, sorted the washing (that hasn't been done since Wednesday). Emptied the litter tray, unloaded and reloaded the DW. Put away the mountain on the draining board. WU and DU. Washing machine is on 3rd load. School uniforms are in the TD. The maiden has been emptied and reloaded. The ironing basket is full again
The LR is not too bad - just need to get the tree undressed and put away......0 -
I am in this week too. Thanks for the list Valli. I wonder if the reading was about going into the woods? I have heard it many times and it is beautiful.
Daughter sent off to school in the dark this morning and it doesn't seem to be getting lighter!
One wash load in and all daily done. Having a quick cup of tea whilst deciding where to start!0 -

Morning,
Thanks for the lists, and welcome to anyone joining. Good to have you with us.
I'm popping out this morning, DS is getting desperate for trousers and I've checked the box in the bottom of his wardrobe and there are none bigger. We looked at Mr S and Mr A but neither had his size. I'll take my tape measure - I've measured the waist on his old ones which is fine, just needs longer leg! Although Mr A slim fit ones looked a tiny waist, even for my skinny boy. Hoping the other store has regular in an 8.
When I return I have piggies to clean, then I will do the LR. After than its a paperwork and homework afternoon. I have a share certificate on my desk. Not very safe, will send it to the online broker to be stored electronically.
Off I go!Bossymoo

I have showered, emptied TD and done half my thank you cards for the children, the others I will do for giving out with my main class on Wednesday. Overnight I did two wash loads and can see the bottom of the basket!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson
