    (((HUGS))) Valli and Loudmouth.

I'm another one who tends to keep my feelings to myself; I don't have anyone to talk to in any case, other than Mr LW, and I see no logic in burdening him with how I feel.

Another rotten "lupus day" - I struggled just to get from the bedroom to the lounge. I'm ashamed to say I haven't even got dressed all weekend. :( And to cap it all I have the biggest, nastiest BD you ever did see biting at my legs.

I need to be at least functional tomorrow; Mr LW needs to collect his prescription from the GP surgery, then we must go into town to get it filled; and I need another pot of Tiger Balm.

  • Good evening, I have missed most of this week due to ill health but I really need to get some stuff for next week, so pushing myself as still not feeling right.

    Today I need to:

Pair up socks and put away
Have a shower to freshen up
Do ironing that is needed for next week
Complete 2 sections of uni work
    Sort bags for Monday
    Bath the two little ones
Make sure planner is up to date for the week
Put the washing machine on for a clean cycle
Get fuel in the car for tomorrow and check oil etc
    Get an early night

I think that is enough to be working on today. Sorry I haven't been able to keep up with thread but hope everyone has had a good week and hugs to those who want/need them x
  • Arrgggghh!!

All school uniforms washed and ready for tomorrow or so I thought. While putting out to dry, noticed DS who is 13, uniform missing, still on his bedroom chair. Have explained that at his age when I ask for all dirty washing I shouldn't have to check through dirty washing to check it's all there.

His excuse was that it was on chair on and floor so he didn't think to look there lol.

So yet another load in washer now.

Apart from this minor mishap, had a lovely weekend of doing pretty much nothing and didn't feel guilty as house is tidy, so thank you :)
  • Jayne I think there is some unwashed school uniform under DS2s desk. I really cant be bothered to investigate. I took him a cuppa earlier and the rest of the room is passable, he will have to sort it himself.

Loudmouth I think that often when you are dealing with something like that you cant really process what's going on. Its enough to just get through each day. Sounds like a lot of healing has gone on for you now which is good.

And LW[/B sorry the lupus is so bad, you do seem to have had a rough few months. I know what you mean about not having anyone to talk to though. Keep posting here and get it off your chest if it helps.

Well I have hoovered right though, in a half hearted sort of way. Had a half hour nap, read a bit, did a roast dinner and tidied the kitchen. Dad to take to hospital tomorrow and I feel guilty for taking time off work and missing an important meeting to do it, how stupid is that?
