Morning all. Hope you're all ok today. I had a lie in, ending in a really lovely dream, so feel quite chilled.

My plans are to water the indoor plants, wash up the breakfast dishes, change our bedding, hoover/sweep/mop through the house and take the dogs for a short walk, weather permitting.

    And then rest up.

    Have a great day everyone.

Morning all! Got paid stuff to do so will get that out of the way first I think. Going to pop some gammon in the SC with pineapple and that will make us a nice tea. I'll have to iron at some point. Got a load of whites in at the moment. I need to make sure the kids do some homework; they're both expert at ignoring it until the last minute and I'm really trying to stop that.

I really want to do some sewing but find I feel guilty if I'm not working on the weekend - anyone else get that?

Jazee enjoy your walk. How is your ankle doing - is it improving at all?

Yorkshirelass hope DS didn't need the bedside bucket! I've got all that to forward to but not for a while yet.

Loudmouth did your little visitor sleep through?!!

Time to get washed and dressed now. See you later

When you anticipated doing so much and don't wake until 945! Best get up and make the most of what's left of the day. Not the brightest day, it's grey and raining so gives you no incentive like the sunshine did yesterday.

You must have needed the lie-in Kaz and you're so right about the grey not being very motivating.

Gammon in now onto some work.

Pfft. So DS isn't playing after all. Good of them to let us know. I took DD elsewhere too. How inconvenient to find out 30min before we left!

I'm put out but DS not bothered.

Still no sign of DD passport. Bit concerned. Definitely not booking until I have it.

Day at home today as mum is going to drop DD home for me :A so I'm going to sort my books and collect paperwork together. I've washed some piggy bedding and DS has fed them some parsley.

We might do some crafting this aft - I wasn't expecting to have this much time today so I suppose it's a good thing.

Hope you all have a peaceful Sunday xx

Mumof2 - the ankle is improving. Every step still hurts but not as much. The last two days I have managed short walks with the dogs and I can go longer now between resting it. Flippin hurts at night though, so glad I got a lie in this morning. It will be a while before I'm back training for the 10k.

So all that's left from my list is the mopping and walking the dogs, but it's still raining at the moment.

Kaz Sundays are all about having a lie in.

    Morning all.

Yesterday didn't improve much after my sleepless night. I decided to walk to the gym for a swim and sauna, but neglected to take a vital piece of equipment...my swim suit *sighs*. So walked home via the shop and bought some freshly baked bread and yummy cheese and wine to cheer myself up.

Nothing else was done for the rest of the day other than stripping and remaking the bed and washing said bedding, which is still drying now.

Today, I am either going to attempt to go for a swim with swim suit firmly in tow or go for a run. Other than that I am planning to cook a couple of recipes from the 'What's for dinner' thread for tonight and extra to freeze, then sit and watch TV. A day of indulgent nothingness :D

Have fitted my new shower hose, no leaks *glow* but have been attacked by the blues and have had a weep.
The grey day won't be helping, but I wanted to get on with some cleaning because that will make me feel better...but no GUAG, it's a viscious circle...

Sorry to hear that Valli (((hugs)).

I believe that sometimes you just have to accept down days and go with the flow but most importantly, be kind to yourself.
