A very very early good morning all!!

Awake since 2am, had some tea and toast, but still unable to sleep.

I can see my day off today being a wash out due to tiredness but worse things happen eh!

I'm listening to a howling gale outside but I'm warm under my duvet..I just wish i was snoring rather than posting on MSE :rotfl:

    Have a good day all:D

karcher - that was me yesterday morning. Up most of the night but it meant I had a fantastic sleep last night!

I have not managed to fly much this week as I haven't actually been in my house much between work, meetings and babysitting. I will try this weekend to get the whole house tidied and swished - upstairs today and downstairs tomorrow - before another manic work week. I have decided not to put on the WM so much as I have sooooo many clothes, I don't actually need to rotate the same few outfits for work. Therefore I am going to keep an eye on the weather and put on WM when I reckon I can hang stuff outside. - well that's the plan anyway.

Will be reading if not posting. Bye for now

Afternoon all. Agree with you all that flyladies do not fail, something else just took priority, even it is just a well-earned sit down.

Today I have done another very short walk with the dogs and have baked hundreds of fairy cakes which is still ongoing.

DD and her fiance will be here soon (am hoping they will take the dogs for a more substantial walk) so I'll take a break for lunch with them.

    Have a great afternoon everyone.

Don't work too hard, Mumof2: remember to rest your eyes frequently.

Worked all day yesterday too so failed miserably on that Iona, but thanks for thinking of me. Got 2 jobs in to be done over the weekend too. In an ideal world I wouldn't be doing this but J still not heard re job (won't til end of next week) so if the work is around I feel I have to do it. Hopefully not be too much longer ..... fingers crossed.

I have gone through thread but am so rubbish I've forgotten a lot - so sorry - sending hugs, sticks, spoons to everyone.

Flying wise got a load of washing in, a load airing and put a clean and dry load away. Need to vacuum today and have a general tidy up. J been doing a fair bit whilst I've been working - feels like role reversal! J decluttered 4 pairs of old shoes which is nothing short of a miracle so for us that's progress :).

Right, onwards and upwards .... need to move from the sofa and get flying!

    Afternoon all.

Having an off list flying day. Prepared meals for any of the four possible combinations of people/timings over the next 2 days. Meal planned for next week, but again, all fluid depending on when DH's colleagues are free for study sessions.

Anyone got any ideas for getting a stain out of a damask table cloth? Bleach doesn't seem to be working and I am out of ideas.

Been for a long run. Lovely, if a bit dangerous. It's cold, clear and icy. But I feel much better for it.

Done 2 loads of laundry. Need to hang up second on the way to the shower. The I need to do a quick trip to Lidl before doing some more batch cooking - breakfast bake, Blueberry muffins and Chocolate Beetroot cake.

That should take care of today. I need to have everything prepped as the next couple of weeks will be manic. DH prepping for exams he HAS to pass, me commuting to Ayr (officially only 2 days a week but I can see myself doing full time until the end of the month), and general other household chaos.

Iona thanks for the reminder. I need to clean the fridge so I shall do that and double check the contents before I head out shopping just in case.

Sorry if I've missed important news. Just skim reading at the moment.

(((Hugs))) and sticks if necessary. I need all the spoons I have at the moment. Sorry.

Just a quick pop in before Mum's taxi sets off again....
FBO - I swear by Mr Al biological soap powder for everything! Not sure what's in it, but it cleans so much in this house....including stains and oven racks :D
Have done a bit of flinging of really old craft stuff this morning - one bagful straight to the bin and the other bagged up for the Brownies to use. At least it then gets a home to go to.
Made carrot soup and then some spicy butternut and coconut soup. That was a new to me recipe and has benn declared a success at lunchtime.
Off to take DD to her riding lesson now, then later on the plan is to make an expedition to the blue and yellow Swedish store  Wish me luck...

    I hope everyone is ok.
Kaz I hope sheringham and Norfolk didn't take too much of a battering overnight.
Working on clearing as much from the freezer as we can before we swap them over, it will reveal some interesting meals over the week. Last night was veggie meatball shepherds pie with carrot and swede topping, lunch today was cauliflower cheese patties. Tomorrow will be something containing butternut squash after finight a large container of that in the depths of the freezer.
I've shopped for us and mil, sorted her tablets, Dh has mended her bathroom pullcord, I've done a bottlebank run fed everyone and done a S&s all round. Now I'm doing some crossstitch.

    Hello,

Posted ebeast parcel :money: and popped to greengrocer. Was having a bit of a moan as I'm feeling a bit taken for granted. DS said well I will get you some flowers - so we chose some daffs :) I paid of course. He said he will give me £3 bless him. Think he's forgotten but if he does, I shall graciously accept and pop it back in his money box when he's not looking :rotfl:

I got some for my mum too, as I think she's probably feeling the same :o we are popping over and DD is going to sleep over so I don't have to take her to rainy football tomorrow. It should help mum as she'll entertain the boys for her...

What else have I done? Supervised 2x homework. DS reluctant but once he got going he really got stuck in. Sorted kitchen and made lunch. Swept out furry cage and fed and chatted to piggies :rotfl:, updated my diary and made an eye test appointment.

Also need to book boiler service, vets check up and my smear test

Hope everyone is safe, dry and warm. We've got the fire on for now although we'll be going out shortly...
