I think it was Lame Wolf who started it some time ago - at the time it made me laugh so the name has stuck! :rotfl:

I am having a sort out of my handbags...I am torn between two different ones at the minute which would be fine IF I remembered to swap everything between them, though in truth I do carry stuff I probably don't need to.
I have finally registered my 'new' sparks card - I lost my last one and have had this one for months...and everytime I go they 'helpfully' tell me I need to register it. Not straightforward, had to do it through live chat in the end but another ticked-off item on the Toots list.
I also took the Christmas cards for recycling; (mistyped Christmas, right click and I could have selected 'masochist' as a spelling...bit Freudian methinks). But not all of them, I never put them up and I've found some more.
At the funeral there was a reading by Seneca. I would love to read it again; I thought it so apt. Any clues as to where I could find it, Flyladies? A basic google search hasn't yielded much, though I have a feeling I might like to read more of Seneca's work and may well invest in a kindle book. On the funeral leaflet there is the celebrant's name so I might email him, if I can find contact details for him.
PC is running much better since maintenance was carried out...you have been warned.

oooh - I wonder if Mrs Beaton's available on the kindle?...

    thanks to list-writers.
    Welcome Jenni-fer
Continued hugs for those who need them.
My week is looking quite busy, so I'll try and fly in between but I suspect a lot of the flying is going to be dealing with MIL's move. Hopefully we pick up the key tomorrow, after I've been to a new class at the gym - Clubbercise which seems to be zumba to rave music waving glo-sticks around....at my age too......
Tues proper zumba then 2 students at uni.
Wed & Thurs assessments at uni, maybe some 1:1 work.
Fri let carpet measuring man into MIL flat then have lunch with a friend.
In between, lots of flying and report writing - gosh I'm so predictable!

And just to show my age, yet another celebrity bites the dust - anyone else remember Peter Sarstedt? Shame.

    Welcome Jenni Fer!

I hope the hospital appointments go well Jazee and Ionafan for Mr I and lest I forget, that your OH's interview goes well on Tuesday Mumof2.

Thanks for the lists Natty and Valli. I'm in this week, and will be doing the whole list tomorrow. The sitting room needs it, although dusting around OH's birthday cards can wait until they come down.
    Better is good enough.

    Here Goes This week...

Manic Monday - Let's start with the lounge!

    Level 1
    Hopefully we are completely de-christmassed!
Open the window even if only for five minutes
    Empty the bin
Give the sofas and seats the once over - leather wipe or a just-damp cloth to move any marks
Lift and swap cushions and seat pads - vacuum underneath before replacing any
Rinse and squeeze out the cloth and wipe sockets, switches and door handles

    Level 2
Dust all surfaces - don'[t forget the skirting boards
Give light fittings a dust, too
Check ceilings, covings etc for cobwebs - especially if you had a real tree!

    Level 3
    Vacuum the floor
    Polish the windows
    Plump up cushions
Make sure that nothing is in here which doesn't live here
Don't forget dailies - S&S in the kitchen and bathroom

    Extras
    HHI
Make sure your new 2017 diary and/or calendar are up to date with birthdays and key dates (insurance renewal, MOT etc)
Make sure your freezer inventory is up-to-date post christmas
If you need to replace anything have a list - some brilliant bargains around now - I bought a 500ml pyrex jug for a bargain price in Wilk0 today! It's a good time to buy new sheets and towels too.
Make sure you have all the birthday cards etc you need for the month!

Ok, I haven't kept up to date but I have to keep trying!!!
    Thanks for the lists..........xx

Hope to be in properly this week, although I need to do some work at some point as well...

Have 4 hellebores that I must plant tomorrow. Accidental purchase... but as I need to completely replant the entire garden, I thought I should get started. I'm focussing on getting one bed done. Hopefully this one isn't going to be impacted by any of the remaining building work.

or you can try wiki - though I'm always a bit wary there.

It depends what size your handbags are, but I recently saw a "handbag organiser" that is basically like a cloth handbag with lots of compartments that you just put your stuff in then move the whole organiser into another handbag each time. I saw it in our sell-everything garden centre, but there are some on Amazon. Or you could probably make one.
