Tried to post earlier but it didn't work. Didn't do much yesterday apart from the basics - horrible day at work and out in the evening. Again today won't manage much as I'm going straight from work to parents evening. Good day tomorrow is Friday - I'll try to do all the level 1s.Oct grocery budget £368.40 / 6000

Easy day Fly-wise for me - we have no stairs or landing, and the hall only contains a radiator and three bookcases, plus a few pictures and framed cross-stitch pieces on the walls.
It's a good thing, because I still have next to no energy; I have sliced the nut loaf and stashed it in the freezer though; and we'll be having our soup for dins this evening.
It looks like I need to send healing energy to Jazee's LittleyDog, too. It's on it's way.
I've had a couple more dog-sitting bookings come through; both for dogs who have "followed" me from the old company. This is good, because one of them will be staying over the Easter break, thus alleviating the insufferable boredom of that weekend.
He'll also be there for my birthday, so I'll have a good excuse not to go out for a "celebration".
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

LW, thank you for thinking of Littley, she is much better today and eating again.
So before the paid stuff today I only sorted finances, dailies and a quick hoover downstairs.
Off to a volunteering thing tonight, something else I didn't say no to. Obviously I don't take my own advice.
Have a great evening everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Still no snow; due 6pm apparently - it has been cold splatty rain for a couple of hours. I have:
- emailed hostess who cooked our meal on Tues to thank her
- organised ordering of MIL's cooker
- done a couple of searches for her utilities (I know I said I wouldn't but..I only did a couple of quick ones on TCB so I may benefit!)
- emailed another person asking for private assessment to give dates
-read a couple of bank emails and checked accounts
- washed up
- had a quick wipe round and tidy kitchen surfaces
- am writing the conclusion to an assessment
Got a bit sidetracked here and there, but not dissatisfied with my progress all in all. Always could do better if tried harder.....Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
