Good evening everyone. Keep safe and warm vibes all round.
It sleeted then snowed here around 4pm. All settled and white. Then the icy wind started and it looks as if we have a treacherous lot of frozen snow and slush. DD is at a friend's house for her birthday. Only 2 miles away but they had almost nothing fall. Tomorrow morning looks like it could be fun.
Full day at paid stuff. Only meant to be half but so much needed doing.
WM and DW run and emptied
HHI
Dusted hall, landing and bedroom whilst watching snow falling
Money juggled
Dinner cooked, eaten and tidied away.
Off now to look at more money stuff....
ETA - just had to watch that link LW. Fab!!0 -

I simply love having DH home on holiday. No, no, I do. AAARRRGGGHHHH
Thank you all for looking out for me. Had a rough couple of days, and more stress tonight, but my doggy paddle is keeping my head above water - just...
Too many carp things/events to list but good news is Mutley lives! £450 later, he seems much better, test results pending, specialist swabs processed and ear injury sorted. Back to the vets next week for more financial bleeding but I like beans on toast.
I did iron for an hour today, but TBH I can't keep up with the lists this week. Sorry girls.0 -
Good evening all:)
I'm feeling quite pleased with my achievements today. I cleaned the kitchen, hung out a load of washing and shook out all the rugs before paid stuff.
On my return, I cleaned all the windows, the bathroom, hoovered, mopped, dusted and put the washing away. As well as another washer load done.
I think I was taking my angst out on the cleaning as I'd had a very demoralising day at paid stuff. I sometimes wonder why I bother when I am clearly undervalued and constantly undermined. I wouldn't mind if it was justified, but it isn't:(
I suppose that's life though but today really kicked the stuffing out of me paid stuff wise.
Take care all and thank heck it's friday tomorrow'I'm sinking in the quicksand of my thought
And I ain't got the power anymore'0 -
Hi all
Yay Dizzy great news, but ouch to the bill.
Up at 6.15am, did a bit of dusting and tidying, paid stuff no. 1, then straight to paid stuff no. 2, home to dish up the meatballs that were in sc, set dw going, swished fridge which was grubby, took DS2 to footie, went to Lidl, picked DS2 up, home to put shopping away, emptied dw and tidied kitchen. I now have a report to finish and email then its probably an early night.
So so tired! Anyone else feel like this is a really long week?
Hope tomorrow is better Karcher. I know how you feel.0 -
No sign of any of the white stuff here much to the disappointment of J and the kids! Freezing cold though brrrrrrr.
Dizzy I'm really relieved for you re your dog. Pets do cost a lot of money but they pay you back with their unconditional love and I'm chuffed for you.
Karcher sorry you've had a bad day. Really good news though about all the cleaning you've been able to do.
Done no flying again - sorry guys. Just need to get all the paid stuff in that I can so I'm not turning any typing down which means housework is taking a back seat.
Off to bed now; stay safe everyone in the morning as it looks like it could be icy even if no snow around.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
Morning all
So pleased Mutley is ok Dizzy xx
Karcher - so sorry you've had a bad day xx
YL - yes it's been a very long week. TFI Friday!
Slept better last night, still up early but kiddies were in bed at 6.30 last night so I didn't really mind the 5.45 wake I got from DS!
Volunteering this morning, then round to grandmas to drop in some soup I have made her. Must pop to Ald! For a few bits (rigidly sticking to my list), then before I know it I'm sure it will be school pick up time! Will do as much of the list as I can.
Have wonderful days all xxMFW

Morning all
Glad mutely is alright now dizzy
Ordered my new fridge freezer- I've got a free Sunday delivery slot so haven't got to wait about or take any time off work. Plus while not normally bothering with extended warranty got offered 5years for £70 with includes all repairs and parts even accidentally cracked shelves AND they come out and clean it once each year for the five years. So Dh said it would be rude not to :rotfl:
Think we'll will be having a lot of blackberry crumbles for the next couple of weeks to use up the blackberry glut I don't really want to transfer over from the old to the new one.
Busy all day again today but will catch up with the lists over the weekend, Dh has blood downing Sunday morning so I can pull an hours ironing in the as well.
Hugs good wishes, get well and stay warm vibes to all who need them.
Right better make a move now as want to S&s round quick before I go.
oh btw ds2 went to see all ladies land last night he said it was brill and he would go again, but he does have a bit of a thing about Emma stone so that may have influenced his decisionSPC~12 ot 124
