    Hey,

Sounds like its been a tough few months spends wise, its a good point to review things. I personally am seeing the spends creep up and the tracking of them getting worse, so am also at the start of a big review of how i want things to be moving forwards. It does sound like you are on top of it though

    @MissRikkiC @CRANKY40 @FootyFanDan

It's a case of getting it up to date, reviewing and going back over my budget and SOA.  At least this time I realise I need to do it and get hold of it.  I've been a member of these boards an awful long time and not been out of debt at all.  This is a circle I go in, get sorted for a while then it all slides. At least this is the longest I have stuck at it, I recognise I'm sliding and am trying to actively get it back in shape. A first for me. 👍

Morning @dawnybabes it was hidden in a different thread 😃

    Naomim said:

@Naomim I like to dunk…not every time, but sometimes! And no to ginger biscuits? Even gingerbread men?
Nope, not even an arm or leg! 😂  The only thing I ever dunk is a kitkat finger in very hot tea so I can slurp the chocolate off!

I occasionally make my own biscuits and did have some recipes from this very site. Sure on the oldstyle threads there was one for something very similar to the oaties but this was many years ago.  Just searched my very old recipe folder and found it:

    8oz SR flour
    8oz sugar
    8oz porridge oats
    8oz margarine
    1tbsp golden syrup
    1tbsp hot water
    1/2 tsp bic soda

    Mix flour, oats and sugar.
Melt margarine, syrup and water in a pan
stir in bic soda and add all to the dry mix
    mix well
Make small balls and put on greased proof paper and flatten slightly with a fork
cook at 180º for 15 mins
    leave to cool

    Enjoy!

@dawnybabes sorry I actually posted it on @WinterWarrior diary as we were discussing biscuits 😂

Thanks @jokono for posting it here. I wouldn't have managed that and typed it all out again!🤣

Diataster has struck at home. 11 yo has nits 😬 you might not think this is much if a problem but if you have thick curly hair like us, it's a nightmare!  Washed with tea tree oil vosene this morning and going to have a chat with our hairdresser shortly 😥

Oh no! Nits are always a disaster - mainly because in our house the twice that he had them they were discovered at bed time. Trying to delouse a very tired and therefore very grumpy child when you want to be in bed yourself is not good. I hope you manage to get rid and nobody else in the house has them.

I make the oat biscuits every week and all of my friends like them too.
