I just put £25 in to test the water. I’m always worried I’ve clicked on a scam site or something equally daft 🤣 I will add to them each month I think. Even the little amounts should add up.
Now we need our first MSE millionaire!!

A very spendy day yesterday.  Apart from the eye test, I had to go to Halfords as ¼ of my front number plate had fallen off so apart from replacing that I got them to do oil & tyres check. I also bought the 11yo some more shorts. Only H&M kids and Sports Direct so not expensive.

15yo has dyed his hair purple.  To say MrM is not happy is an understatement.  Although he's just a few years younger than me, it's like he cant remember being a teenager 🤦‍♀️ He can't understand why I'm not angry but I just see it as normal teenage experimenting, and hair can be cut. It's not like he's permanently done something like a tattoo.

Today is a day of catching up on washing (bloody showers forecast 😬) cleaning and tidying.

    Enjoy Sunday everyone

A quick note, I've logged on and bought 3 premium bonds. There was £80 in my Monzo EF so thought I might as well then buy one a month moving forwards.

I was 48 when I dyed my hair purple. Tell him not to bother with blue because it fades to green....My 22 year old nephew currently has a pink mohican which looks rather fetching. He's frequently had a mohican (it's short, not a punk one) but this is his first venture into colour.

Purple hair is all part of the teenage experience, it doesn’t hurt anyone. More reaction will encourage further rebellion I’m sure 😁
I agree. We've had such an easy ride with 15yo (so far) and I like to see them find themselves.  MrM is just very straight laced. His teenage years just consisted of football whereas ours doesn't like football but loves skateboarding and Japanese anime. So it's a whole new thing to him. Doesn't help my 18yo nephew is also very into football and MrM and he have a really close relationship,  probably closer to him than our boy as he relates more. 😔 I keep telling him to pick his battles but he just keeps saying if we let him do what he wants where does the line stop?  Families! 😁
