    Welcome to all newbies.
    - Apart from a pile of "stuff" which needs to be gone through, our kitchen is ok. I'm heroically munching my way through the gingerbread stars and the apricot/cranberry pastries I made yesterday just to declutter them you understand.
    - One load through DW.
    - Went round to MIL and took all cushion covers off her sofa and chairs so I can take them to the dry cleaners tomorrow. She's getting a bit more enthusiastic about her moving and is sorting through things so I also have bags of stuff in my car to take to the cs. Went for a nice walk to the RSPB reserve with her and Mr N then coffee.
    - Spent a good few hours organising work; have printed and logged 10 more assessments for uni - that means I'm already booked for 2 per week until the end of March. It also means there are 10 fewer flagged emails in my task list :T
    - paid tax bill :(
    - checked bank account.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

    Parsnip soup made
    Frittata for dinner made
    Counters washed
    Floor (partly swept)
2 wm loads, some line dried, others TD.
Ironing. It was a mountain range but now just my clothes to finish

Girls clothes laid out for tomorrow. I've to drop them a childminder's house at 7.30 so will be an early start for us.

Lovely to see so many new people (and some returners!) :D Please keep posting!

    My list!

    Monday ~ Kitchen

    Vacuum the floor
    Clear and wipe the worksurfaces
Wipe over window sills and shine the taps
    Sort paperwork
    Dust and deweb

Tuesday - Lovely Living Rooms and Safe Stairs

Vacuum floors in these areas, even if around clutter
Clear anything from the stairs! Safe stairs are a must
Vacuum and wipe (if needed) sofas
Dust any areas below eye level
Dust anything above eye level (if safe to do so)
    Clean windows

I don't want to go to work tomorrow - I am still so behind on paperwork, etc. and have no motivation to do anything when I'm at home :o so end up with a longer list instead of a shorter one :( On top of that, we're due an inspection this half term so I'm already panicking about that and wondering how I can possibly get everything done and ready - aaarrgghh! Why can't I organise myself to get things done? I hate the fact that I'm like this :o

Sorry, I know others have much bigger things to deal with at the moment - but it feels better to write it down (even if it has made my eyes leak :o grrrr!).

Anyway, I'd better head to bed soon so at least I get up and get myself to work on time!

Hope everyone else returning to work / school / college / routine tomorrow has a good day xx

My husband's been in charge of the kitchen today so just the bare minimum done (that's not a criticism of him btw, He was doing other stuff too!) I've mostly been sorting and packing books and DVDs for moving, fending off the toddler and, apparently, coming down with lurgy :(

Well, four pages and I've only just arrived!
Hello to all the new and lurking flyers, it's good to see you! Please stick around!
Thanks for the lists natty and valli.
Today was flyless, last day of the hols. We've been to my friend's for Monday lunch. Paid stuff tomorrow, plus flying as much as possible, plus stepping on the scales, a terrifying thought!
    See you all tomorrow x

    Rampant Recycler Debt-free and Proud!
Evening everyone and a warm welcome to the new peoples, returners and lurkers :hello:

    Did the dailies
Put out the rubbish and recycling ready to go
Did the accounts for December - just need to reconcile for 2016
Paper hotspot sorted - just filing left to do
    Did Spanish lessons
Kitchen done - apart from digging out cupboard, as ribs and hand still too painful for that

Our 'mini-break' was over today, as DH returned to work. However, because he was starting late, he decided I wouldn't mind cooking him brunch today - didn't really have the heart to say no as he did wash up the roast dinner yesterday. I was sneaky and did extra portion of roast yesterday - so I had an easy dinner today.

Need to do budget for 2017
Must make a start on menu plan for the month - and shopping list
Want to make a roundtuit list for month

Hugs, gws vibes, sticks and spoons for anyone needing some
Hope you all have a great Tuesday

Froddy, hugs, sounds like things are getting on top of you, if you can make a list of what needs doing, and the estimated time it will take to do each item, then pick them off one short one long item time wise per day. xx

Brrr.... Cold and dark outside. Don't want to get up!

Did manage to put away all my unpacked clothes before I went to bed last night.
  • Good Morning all

Mumof2 - big hugs to your DS, it must be so worrying for you as a mother. I hope he slept well and that today is nowhere near as bad as he fears. xx
Frodders - have a huge ATB hug lovely xx

Well it's all back to normal here today. DH gone away with work, DD back to school and DS home with me until he returns to pre-school tomorrow. So far I have prepped breakfast and done the banking shuffle. Got to go volunteering this morning for an hour, fuel the car up, visit grandma, do some of MiLs laundry for her and then take kidlets to the dentist after school.

I am looking at the lovely bunch of daffodils I bought yesterday - 70pence and they bring me so much joy.

Back on later, have good days all xx
