iammumtoone I get up 45 minutes earlier than I need to just so I can fit in some housework before the paid stuff. There are some things I cant do - e.g. hoovering but it works for me. I dont usually come on here before work but I am feeling rebellious today!
Frodders I have been in that kind of situation after Christmas before, hope it feels better once you get plugging away at it.
Back to it - both jobs today. I know that once I have been I will feel better. Have sorted the kitchen and had a bit of a tidy of both fridges. Off to get a shower and get dressed now.
Have a good Tuesday everyone x0 -

I am definately better in the early morning so think that when I go back to work, I'll keep that up. It may mean I'm a day behind you all as I could stop turning my computer on in the morning and use that time for flying.
Did pan cupboard today and managed to get rid of one pan (it's a start). I definately need to sort paperwork today so that will be my aim.
One of my goals for 2017 is to step back from social media a bit so have allocated Mondays and Fridays as social media free days. Cutting back in the mornings will also help. I shall boogie to the radio whilst flying instead.
Have a good day all.:rotfl:0 -

Morning all. You've all been so busy. Great to see all the regulars, returners and newbies.
I'm another one who gets up earlier than I really need to and try to get a room a day done before the paid stuff. After the paid stuff, I am fit for nothing.
Today, I've had breakfast and washed up the dishes. About to do some stuff from the list for 30 mins before the paid stuff.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Morning,
Big thanks to Natty and Valli for the lists.
Welcome to all the newbies and lurkers coming out of the closet.
Yesterday was decks down day and DH was a big help, but 3 trees down and 2 sitting rooms and the landing have been hoovered rearranged and are all tidy.
Today I need to get a move on, I should be at my home desk in 30 minutes and haven't showered yet! Will work from home for a bit then head over to college where I hope I can catch my tutor before the classes as my assignment is at the rip it up and start again stage a week before deadline. Won't finish until 8pm so not back until 9 so a no fly day for me, although DH will be putting the boxes into the attic.
Washing has also been done, approx 6 loads in the last 2 days and so just DD's needs taking up.
Must go, gotta fly!Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
Good morning lovelies!
Last day of the holidays for small people today :j Can you tell I'm glad to have got through Christmas and NY?
Made pancakes for brekkie but the cupboards are now bare, so I'll be braving the SM today with boys in tow
Lots to do and sort today, so I'll stop prattling.
Hugs all round x0 -
I have cleaned out the filters on the hoover and put out all the recycling and rubbish.Spend less now, work less later.0

Morning all, and a big  to all new and returning Flyladies.
Big (((hugs))) to Froddy and everyone else struggling with New Year blues.
Hope you are still keeping off that foot as much as possible, Jazee.
Yesterday went to pot in more ways than one. Having stripped all the guest beds and started the first of WMx5, I was exhausted, so decluttered half a golden syrup sponge (yes, half a whole cake, not just half a slice) and then just sat and watched 3 episodes of WDYTYA, slept for 2 hours, and sat watching TV again all evening whilst attempting to sort out a 1000 piece jigsaw of garden birds - but no fairies, Narc0!
Today I have done better already:
- put another load in the WM
- sorted the outline of a piece of written work that has to be done by Sunday
- put away the DGSs' beds
- taken out the rubbish
- defrosted the car
- been for a fasting blood test at the local horse piddle (yes, fasting! I should think so too, after half a syrup sponge :rotfl:) - only had to wait 12 min for my turn
- avoided eating breakfast with DH because I'm about to go to SW and start repairing the damage. I'll eat mine after weigh-inDH will be staying at home. He is feeling a bit better today but not much - it still hurts him to move, and he is very breathless
Back to the GP on Thursday.
So after SW I must
- finish the washing
- make up the double guest bed
- write thank-you cards
- write my piece for Sunday
- complete a short college assignment
- coordinate diaries with DH and make sure he has got all doctors' letters
- do a bit more of the jigsaw.atypicalblonde wrote: »I am looking at the lovely bunch of daffodils I bought yesterday - 70pence and they bring me so much joy.
Help yourselves to spoons and sticks. ((((Hugs))) all round - hope everyone has a good day x0 -
Morning fly Ladies! Well the bin men have been, I have no excuse now to declutter years of rubbish.
I wish I could move faster. I have to except the fact I am 63 this year though in my head I am 23! I am a mum to five girls the youngest been 14 in three weeks, I do too much for her and she is really spoilt mainly to compensate the fact I am an old mum who has to walk with a stick as she has two knackered knees due to osteoarthritis. She has not actually told me I embarrass her but I think do. She does not return to school till next Monday .OH went back to work this morning.
Today I have done one wash load and it's drying as I write, the dishwasher is on and will need emptying soon but it won't take long as it was not cram full. We are trying to empty the fridge and are eating strange concoctions ! Tonight's little delight is cheese and biscuits with an assortment of chutneys, pickles and piccalilli. Followed with fresh fruit salad. I am going to get cracking with the living room once I have finished my cup of tea.
Oops sorry, I have rambled on a bit, 0 -
Morning all
Hugs good wishes positive vibes sticks and spoons for all in need.
Get well and coping vibes for the poorlies or those with poorly loved ones.
Dh and ds1 back to work and managed to force ds2 out of the house and back to college I go back to work tomorrow.
Deccys are pretty much in a big pile on the settee, I need to take the outside ones and the window stickers down then they can all be boxed ready to go back in the attic.
Stopping now for a quick cuppa and a hhc of cross stitch which I promised myself if the deccys came down.SPC~12 ot 124
