Hi, like may of us not looking forward to going back to work tomorrow. Got a horrible cough and cold so really no done much over the last couple of days - was planning to do a quick declutter (not quick because there's hardly at clutter, but quick as in quick blitz - there's tonnes) - but only a couple of kitchen cupboards done and there's a bag of clothes for the CS.0

Valli , Thanks. Also I notice you put your washing out, do you live non uk? Mine takes 3-4 days to dry in winter here , quicker for me to do it in the house on an Airer (or 3) because we get no sun from November-march in our garden (boo) . Or do you have some magical drying trick?Compers challenge 27/70

Hi, mine does too. But I have a whirligig and it doesn't get much sun at this time of year. I think if you have a 'regular' line so the air gets all around and there is a bit of breeze they can still dry well - my MIL does this and we're in the north of England. I make do with an airer sat in front of the dehumidifier... xx
Well, I guess we are all set for school tomorrow. I've wiped all the cupboard fronts and swept the floor ready for mopping, which I'll do once I've whisked the littlies upstairs. Kitchen looking glorious again
I'm popping to Mr A tomorrow for pillows - FIL has 'bought' two of mine as when they slept here he said his neck didn't feel so bad. So they gave me some £ to get replacements. Also need to get my step ladder out and retrieve a lightbulb from the conservatory roof - two have gone now and it's rather dismal in there.
Going to spend an hour with my college stuff tonight too, just to get me in the mood:D

Oh do please 'come out of the Flylady closet'!
What did you get done in your half hour?
And welcome to the thread.
I have eaten lunch (leftovers, so also decluttering):rotfl:
Going back into the kitchen...
HHC at 2 anyone?
Hi Vali !, well I have two knackered knees so cleaning lower cupboards is a nightmare, but I did manage two and chucked stuff from there that I haven't seen for years😱It's bin day tomorrow (I think?) I have taken down and stored away all the decorations and striped the new year turkey, sliced ready for a couple days of sandwiches for oh work lunches. I am pleased with today's achievements.looking forward to tomorrow's list.0 -
Good evening flyers
Decorations down and away
kitchen clean
leftovers eaten
Not much else done but been out all day so the theory is - if I'm not here, house stays tidy!!!!!:rotfl:0 -
Hi everyone ,
Christmas decorations are now down and stored away and I've also made a start on tackling any paperwork.
I've been out most the day but just about to put dinner on and then to tackle the kitchen.
Back to work tomorrow  but only 7 weeks until maternity leave commences :j.0 -
Only flying achieved today is decluttering some leftovers. I feel cr*p. We get a second holiday tomorrow up here thankfully so I will try and do more tomorrow.
I did however do some admin, turned down some work I wasn't qualified for, and did my budgeting.
Will try and get a wash on - spare room bedding, and do last of the washing up/clearing away tonight before a hot bath and early bed. DH gone to watch Star Wars with BIL. I was invited but lacked energy.
Pot of leftovers soup (loosely Ham and Bean) soup in the slow cooker. Tomorrow I MUST curry the lamb leftovers. Will have the last bit of smoked salmon/quark and salad in an omelette tonight and that will pretty much be it for the excess New Year food.
Tonight I need to write down my goals for the year.:DGoals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0 -
Got loads done today, really pleased. Made some soup as well as a chilli, and nipped to M&S for milk and bread. Local retail park was utterly heaving (apart from M&S Food which was quiet) - people queuing to get into the big blue and yellow shop at 3pm!
DH putting kids to bed whilst I relax with a glass of wine. He is away all week - when I suggested he do bedtime he looked at me like I had 3 heads. Um, well you're away all week so it'd be nice to do it? Honestly, men really are from Mars sometimes aren't they. In my next life I'd love to come back as a man - much easier life!
Have lovely evenings all xxMFW

Very little flying here today as OH and I are both coughing and spluttering everywhere with bad coughs and colds! So it's mostly been a TV day, although we did get the grocery shopping at least.
Hi everyone, happy new year!! Hopefully will be back to doing some flying tomorrow.0
