Hi everyone. I've been lurking last week but am now in. Thanks for the list need to sort my time better.

Decorations have come down this morning, load of washing in, ironing to do and get sorted for back to work tomorrow.

Nurse Dizzy, I am about to rest again, honest! I have done all from my list of a fashion except washing the dogs beds. I can't manage the stairs again today, not until bedtime anyway.

Valli, I agree that those dreams are unsettling at first, but I welcome them now.

So the house looks a little better if a little bare but I have boxes of decs in the hall now that will have to wait till DH is home and can take them back to the loft.

Time to read the paper and do some puzzles as I have a couple of hours before DD arrives. I really should be doing training for a 10k later this year, have only done one session before the accident.

Morning all,

Lovely to see lots of lurkers saying hi! Great to have you with us.

I've bathed two children this morning DD has a party in a couple of hours - in scootable distance so we'll leave the car frozen DS can play on his console for an hour while she's out. I need to clean out the furries (autocorrect changed that to curries lol).

I'm definitely up for the kitchen though - I have a gravy pan from yesterday that needs my attention yuck.

Might take them down for some snacks while I deal with it...

I try to craft, in fact I got my sewing machine out just after my sister died to do a little job - putting a pleat in a double bed valance to make it fit a small double so was proud of myself. I want to get more jam made this year than I did last, I want to find time to make chutney and find a knitting project that's not too onerous.

I have pegged out washing, 3 loads so both lines full, ironed yesterday's, cleaned out hutch so that is airing in the sunshine, emptied DW, texted to get lift to work tomorrow. Texted mum. Dried eyes. I will enjoy cleaning kitchen as I can get doors and windows
open for spring/drying off. I much prefer cleaning my kitchen on sunny days!

And Mr Bruce is playing Deacon Blue I think! Woot!

ETA yes he is, new single!

Valli - windows and doors open - really! It's freezing!

Jazee - don't even think of training yet!!

I'm currently cleaning my fridge out which isn't on the list but is in the right room! Trying to decide whether to make lobby or soup with the veg that needs using up.
