Decided plan of action. About to wake Dgd. Take some things with us for her to do. Taking lunch to save money. Will gather all the trousers and skirts for hemming and bring down to the shop floor and sew them first.
Then do the zip unpicking at home. But order them by lunchtime.
Once all hems are done then I will go for the items that are the simplest so I get through the most items and make a dent in the numbers.
Then I will go back and do the oldest jobs in next, so I am only working out of one order book by the end of the day. Currently we are sewing from two. ( yesterday it was three), and collections are dragging on over 4 books because people are not collecting.

    So that is my plan.
Twin1 rang to talk to her daughter on Skype. Rare occasion that one.
DS should be paid today as does Biggests husband so I should see some money coming back to me rather than flowing out from me.
I have £200 shop takings to bank before I open the doors at 9.30
I am ignoring the aches and pains and not dwelling on the fact I am not sleeping veery well. It is becoming the normal.
The sun is shining through the bedroom window and I better get moving. The alarm goes off in 7 minutes.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

Yesterday Dgd behaved so well. She stayed upstairs in the workshop all day, hardly ventured down stairs at all. Thank heavens for the laptop. We were there for 8 hours bless her. I was kept very busy with customers, late jobs that were urgent and of course work that I already had in. I took £167.00 so that was another reasonable day. I am going to be going to work again early today. Dgd is on a sleepover with the neighbour's and BF will be going home this morning.
    We will go there tonight.
Just having a cuppa while my heat lotion takes effect on my ankle, knee and hip. Then I will be walking to work. Luckily I don't have any lessons booked in, so I will be able to start sewing where I left off yesterday. Still tackling hems mind you as I had even more school urgent jobs yesterday.
I managed to keep the kitchen table and the coffee table clear and clear the landing before work yesterday, and put away a pile of my clothes too.

  • I would like to ask you if your potion is any good. Out of ten what would you give it? DH could be doing with some.
Love following you and hope everything turns out well for you.

I was sceptical but I really do notice the difference if I don't take it.
I reckon it's about an 8/10 for me. Keeps me off of the tramadol anyway!

Takings around £45 today, 7 new jobs in.
Still plodding through the trousers that are needed for Tuesday.
Tired now. Shop closed at 2pm. I have written up the board with the jobs to do, and there are loads to do.

Morning from Oxford. We are at BF's and about to be invaded by his daughter and granddaughter. He agreed to babysit from 11-6 today when she asked him last night. So my Dgd will be happy to play with the baby, but won't be so happy that she won't be able to get her Lego out incase the baby gets hold of anything and chokes!
I also agree that we would play her Monopoly today so that might be interesting. I also had wanted to go to Cowley to buy plimsolls and school shoes.

I have my laptop with me, to do the accounts and I want to study a digital program I bought for writing PDF books.
However I didn't know that we were having the baby when I decided to bring work with me.

I will be extremely busy the next week and if I am lucky the work will continue to come in at the same rate.
Monday I will be in the middle work centre, but for most of September I may be working on the front desk during the week.
That way I can continue to work when people are just browsing for bits and pieces.
I have noticed that there is an increase of habadashery sales, it's slowly picking up and we sell something every day now.
