Thank you Themadvix - no it’s not normally like this. I checked my bank statement from last September and it cost me £140 for 500 litres. That’s the usual price, not the £300+. It might be worth looking out for a local oil buying group. Sometimes buying in bulk with someone else can help.paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.

I'm another pleased at the progression and that you've been finally change locks and your DD3 is quite correct about who should be allowed a key. I too was concerned about your emotional safety and well being with what was going on.
Ouch to the rise in the heating costs.4 -
Thank you, and yes I did mean emotional abuse, it is much harder to deal with / recover / cope with. Maybe even a doorbell with a camera... everyone / lot's of people have them now and probably would be easier to explain.... just a regular step in home security... think you can get an app to check coming / goings on your mobile when you are not at home.
Again you are doing an amazing job. X
If this helps anyone else... your local library / council customer service keep A paper copy of electoral register... if you think you know where someone lives you can look at the copy for free, they can also tell you where to visit to check other areas if you do not find them. They will have to be registered to have a mortgage / pay rent / get credit.
If you have the right address you can go on line via Gov. website and pay about £3 to see who owns the property and it will tell you who it is mortgaged with.MFW - 01.10.21 £63761 01.10.22 £50962 01.10.23 £39979 01.10.24 £27815. 01.01.25. £17538

Thank you Spendless, jennystarpepper & SH.
jennystarpepper - I have started researching doorstep security options. I think one at the garden gate would be a good idea as it’s possible to get so far into the garden without being detected. The need for it was confirmed as I drove home on Thursday, a little earlier than I would usually be, to find the ex marching down the lane towards the house. He had come to collect DD’s car to collect her from college, but it did un-nerve me a little.
I can’t believe the weekend has gone so quickly! I don’t feel that I have accomplished much, it seems to have been a case of doing prep for Job 1 and housework. One DC hasn’t been 100% over the weekend and has been happier to snuggle on the sofa. The elderly lurcher hasn’t been himself either ☹️ - off his food and wanted to be within a cm of where I was sitting for much of the day.
On the positive side, we’ve had homemade sausage rolls this evening with potatoes and veg, followed by treacle sponge pudding. Some rather ancient bananas have gone into banana cupcakes, an interesting low sugar recipe I found online. I am thankful for a long chat on the phone with an old friend and for a series of dry days to get washing dried.paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.

It must have been unnerving seeing the ex suddenly like that. Are you're okay?
I hope the poorly ones perk up soon. It's always worrying.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Sorry to hear your pup is not well... things that worked for my old pups...tuna / fish... strong smells doggies like, also porridge.
Also would say put the camera on the main door... just because of the XXX reasons for him not being on the path to the door... also anyone can tamper if on the gate... on the door proves intent / being too near / should not be in garden.
He needs to prove a reason to be on your property which is not going to show this if at the gate.
Any proof you have will help your case and prove what you have had to put up with. XXX

Thank you Cherryfudge and jennystarpepper.
Good point about the camera being near the door...hadn’t thought about intent.
Yes thank you Cherryfudge, just not expecting to see him down the lane when I did.paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.

All this is worry which you shouldn`t have to tolerate.
I wonder what his justification is for not paying any support for his children over a six year period.....
Have you any friends who could help you install a webcam?
Any news from the CSA- I fantasize that they make payments going back to the beginning of the separation!3
