I'm sorry to hear about the legal issues. I don't know how it all works out but I think the ex isn't paying maintenance and never has: could he be sued for this? Probably showing my ignorance with this question but if you had the money coming for his share of childcare, it would help your finances. I also have a suspicion it can be deducted at source from his pay: Make child maintenance deductions from an employee's pay - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)

It doesnt seem if your legal team are very proactive anf the fact you are running 3 jobs to make ends meet while X is being dingenuous with CB beggars belief!
  • I was so tired last night that I fell asleep shortly after posting the above, then got woken at 10.30 by DS2 ringing to request a lift back to the village from the next  one a few miles away 😒. By the time I’d got myself together and driven there I was wide awake! Being so awake then gave me chance to menu plan for the next 2 weeks, so I’m armed with a list before getting to Mr T’s.

I had a quick look at the online banking and was surprised to see that my electricity direct debit had increased by £20. I know it’s not a huge amount but I’ve had no notification of this happening. Usually they send a letter to inform me.

One of today’s tasks is to sort out a gift for DD3. It is budgeted to come out of my Job 3 wages. I also need to think of a cake design as DD1 isn’t here to do one of her spectacular designs!!
