Thank you joedenise, SH, Janb5 & Lucielle.
Yesterday ended up being quite a busy day one way or another! Taxiing 3 of the children to or from various places took some time. While one of the younger DDs was at a friend’s birthday party, I took DS3 and younger DD ( and remaining puppy) for a walk along a local footpath. It’s a really long, well established trail, which can be walked in sections. I love it there...there is no sense of needing to hurry but to simply be🙂. We enjoyed spotting the pheasants enjoying the sun in the fields nearby. Just enjoying the path and trees in the dappled sunlight was a tonic!
I’ve been to work today. On my return, after putting tea o , I decided to get some outside jobs done, which worked well. I feel that I have achieved something other than just going to work!paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.

Thank you SH & Janb5.
Its been a really weird day (Sat). DD1 moved this morning, to start her next adventure. I will miss her a lot but know it’s been such an unexpected blessing to have her home for the last 9 months, after the disappointment of her last plans being dashed by the Covid restrictions.
Just before she left, the last remaining puppy left. I had been resigned to keeping the last puppy as this one has been with us for several weeks. I love dogs but with juggling the jobs at the moment, it’s just not the best time to try and meet all the training and exercise needs of this particular breed. Bizarrely a couple rang out of the blue, who had met a family that had bought one of the litter. They got my number and rang hoping that there would be one left! The couple are at a different life stage to me and can give the time that I can’t. The younger children have been quite emotional today with saying goodbye to puppy and sister.
The petrol problems have hit locally, I could not believe the queues that were outside the petrol stations. I usually fill up on a Friday for the week ahead, but gave it a miss when I saw the queues. I had to try and get some today though because I was so low. 3 local stations were completely sold out and the 4th had huge queues. Eventually I was able to get some petrol today but quite unnerving, especially when living rurally means we have no choice but to drive to places.
The job juggling is going ok so far...as long as I know which day of the week it is! Job 3 is amazing, a complete contrast to the other 2 jobs although it does complement and have some cross over with Job 1.paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.
