That's a great baking session! What sort of brownies did you do? I tried Biscoff brownies the other day - very sweet but nice.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

You are amazing - I can't imagine there are many people who take on 3 jobs, never mind a single parent to a large family.
Do you ever sleep or have you discovered the art of stretching time? You fit so much into a day it has to be at least 30 hours long
I hope you manage to sort your divorce properly soon and that the results give you a stable and positive life afterwards. You have done so well despite an ex who does not pay his way and seems determined to undermine and disrespect you and your home at every turn.7 -
I agree with warby68. You are doing so well HSL and I know sometimes it`s difficult to switch off which affects your sleep. You have a lot of supporters and friends on here who are cheering you on!5

Thank you SH, Cherryfudge , Warby68 and Janb5. Thank you so much for your kind words. It was my first day back at Job 1 today so encouraging to read your words when I got home, thank you.
Cherryfudge - biscoff brownie sounds incredible! I just did chocolate brownies, the first lot was my usual recipe from Usborne books, whereas the second recipe was one with chocolate chunks in. A colleague once made rhubarb blondes which tasted incredible...must get the recipe !
Warby68 - 30 hours a day sounds a great idea 😉. Sleep isn’t great but has been better over the holidays.
A positive first day back today and a NSD to boot 🙂.

Thank you Cherryfudge.
Its been my first week at all 3 jobs. I enjoy them all as they are so different. Job 2 and 3 have the benefit of just being able to turn up and do the job which is lovely! My new job has the additional benefit of allowing me to be outside for some of the time. On my first day it was most of the time, so I left feeling quite relaxed, from the outside time 🙂🙂. I also get a lunch break where I’m not trying to prep for the afternoon or race through marking, so found myself sitting on a bench in the sunshine for half an hour, completely on my own - quite a novel experience!
I have also discovered that NSDs are much easier to have if you are going from one job straight to another!
Its been a busy week birthday wise with 3 occurring in the last week! DD1 has been a star and done 2 of the birthday cakes. She Is able to have an idea and use the ingredients we have to good effect.
Haven’t done so well money wise. I’ve dipped into savings to get a birthday celebration paid for, but have had to dip in again to get through this next week 😟. Not sure at this point how much my earnings will be from my new job, but hoping that by the end of October the birthdays will have all happened and I’ll be able to replenish the savings.paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 .
