For goodness sake OP.

Look at the way you're describing the situation. Do you actually speak to your OH in the demeaning and patronising manner you describe him? If you do, it's no wonder he's going elsewhere for some banter.

Lighten up a bit. It seems you've had a harder time finding out he's been texting people at work to make the day go quicker, than the fact someone has randomly turned up at your door and bopped him on the nose three times.

He could well be having an affair, and if he is, I'm afraid that changing his number, deleting his social media and having access to his phone, won't change a thing, there will be a way around it for him.

If you are writing a novel (which I think is likely), and you want your female lead to come of as a victim, change the character to the opposite of what you have here!
