After a great start last weekend, I don't seem to be doing too well in this challenge. In fact the way things are going I think I need to be posting on a re-cluttering thread rather than a de-cluttering one
I'll be back on track on Saturday, just don't have much time in the week with work and all x0 -
I started decluttering very late tonight (about 10pm!),but actually got alot done:
11-20:assorted catalogues to recycle.I don't usually look at catalogues, but most of these were accrued while browsing the shops at Christmas, and haven't left yet
21:bag of Christmas detritus-from 2015 : a candle one of the kids had bought me from the Christmas stall, bags of chocolate orange slices, odd pressiies.
22:decorate -a-ceramic-cup set with bits missing (including the cup :rotfl:)-assorted bits out for recycling or binned
23: made quick work of emptying a plastic storage box of tat-some stuff set aside for donating, some chucked
24:another box quickly emptied when I realised it contained stuff belonging to a friend of OH's.Handed it straight to OH to look after (as he has been for about the last 10 years, apparently.Though he could never have told you where it was,if asked :rotfl:) .
Amongst these items, there was also lots set aside for donation.Hoping to get to charity shop tomorrow-then I will list everything that goes
Council collected bins and recycling today. Is it just me who feels the lightness of being that descends when all that stuff is removed from their lives permanently.Full bin of rubbish (not collected for 2 weeks),plastic bin full of plastics gone for recycling, plus a huuuuuge mountain of cardboard packaging (also 2 weeks worth)SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76

Last night when I got in from work, I de-cluttered two left over mince pies and half a bottle of red wine... I probably shouldn't count these!
Actually, the de-cluttering I've done so far has inspired me to decorate my bedroom, which I will be doing at the weekend. And even more it has inspired me to look what paintbrushes and rollers I already instead of just buying a new set when I get the paint.0 -
