    So far, so good :

--Jars of old pickle/apple sauce/cranberry that wont get eaten. Its a shame to throw 2 almost full jars of cranberry away, but it will just sit in the fridge all year taking up space and not being eaten, like last year. (I will re-use the little jars soon because Im going to melt down all my old candle ends to make new ones, the cranberry jars will be perfect size candle jars.)

I would have browned and slow cooked some lamb chops in cranberry sauce.

Last day off work. Trying to get through my to do list, but looking out for items that can go as I do it. Bag of very OOD fruit tea bags bought for a guest, bin. Glass paperweight received for 21st birthday, I'm 44 and have never used it, CS bag. Hopefully a few more things can be found and reported later.

  • Important dates and things to remember transferred from 2016 calendar to 2017 calendar, so 2016 calendar has been binned. It's blowing a gale here, hoping it will declutter the last few autumn leaves out of my garden :).

I tried this challenge last year, but failed miserably. I'm determined to do it this time, certainly got the clutter to achieve it.

I've been feeling rubbish since Xmas but have gradually got some stuff tidied up. Today, DH and I sorted through a couple of boxes of books. So, today I've got rid of:

    1. 18 books to charity shop
    2. Old duvet covers x 3 to Recycling c.
    3. Old tube sun cream
    4. 5 Xmas cards, 1 birthday card
    5. 1 draw string bag
    6. 2 pens
    7. Old bread crock
    8. 2 pairs old shoes
    9. 2 old dog beds
    10. Old torn jogging bottoms
    11. 3 bags of clothes to charity shop
    12. 7 cuddly toys
    13. Toy telescope
    14. 2 old rucksacks
    13. Pile of paper/ old brochures
    14. Old socks
    15. Toilet brush set
    16. 5 nearly empty deodorants that DH doesn't like.
    17. Empty Half Coconut from garden the birds had finished
    18. 3 old annuals

Got loads more to sift through, but back to work tomorrow so may take a few days to do it. :)

I'm so sorry to hear that Sue14, my love to you ❤️

    Thank you.

Today was my last day off before I go back to work, so I spent a few hours in the spare room. I didn't actually get much out of the house, but I have offered a few things on freegle, including DH's medical dressings, catheter bags etc., which have been in a big box since I lost him, also got his meds ready to take to the chemist, although may not be able to take them until Saturday. I will count all this when it's actually gone.

1 Big bag of shredded paper in recycling box
2 Carrier bag of bits that belonged to my dad in CS box
    3 Remote control - CS
4 Pair of broken scissors - bin
5 Junk mail taken out of letterbox and put straight into recycling box
6 Bicycle inner tube - CS

I've also put some clothes that don't fit me at the moment, which were piled on the spare bed, in the airing cupboard along with a spare blanket.
