Sa1sysoo,are we going to have another thread for 2018?

I haven't done much decluttering since I last posted.(I say "haven't done much-I haven't done any.In fact,stuff seems to have come into the house the last few days :eek:).

I am about to start going through the mound of stuff in my lounge room that needs sorting-mostly for donation/tip (toys/toys with missing bits,etc).Would love to have one last push of stuff out the house for 2017.

Only thing I could count out of the house (loft,actually),over the last few days,is
1172-1175: about 4 rolls of wrapping paper decluttered from the loft.
Mind you,there is still about 70 rolls left. :eek::eek:.I am not joking.When I was decluttering the loft in September,I think I mentioned there was about 76 rolls of Christmas wrapping paper up there :eek::eek:.

Ooohhh,that was quick,thank you Sa1sysoo.

Today helped nearly 9yo and 11yo declutter their bedroom,to make room for new Christmas presents.Because we have mostly been keeping ontop of the children's rooms since I blitzed them in the summer,it only took about 3 hours to do this room.With them helping.They were very good letting go of stuff they had outgrown.11yo has even got to the stage where she hates mess,and is alwats complaining she wants her own room because DD,nearly 9yo is too messsy.It is true :cool:.

2934:a lovely grey dress from White Stuff,never worn.I have no idea where it came from-I have never shopped in White Stuff,and it would never have fitted me,even when I was 15 ,I don't think.

My final post for this thread.I spent today cleaning and tidying my whole house (which I love doing any time,but especially preparing to enter the new year).
I set aside a few items to donate,which I will count when they actually leave the house.
Actually left the house today:

Binned:
2935:make-up bag that 10yo had decluttered sorted from bedroom declutter yesterday.I think she thought it was donation-worthy,but really it wasn't,so binned

Back into garden(!! Now there is a sub-heading,hehe):
2936-2937:2 rocks,found in a kid's bag ready for donation

We took down Christmas trees and decorations tonight.While in the loft,I recycled:
1182:a cardboard tube one of the kids had decorated once.:o

So,my total for the year is 2937 items from the house,and 1182 from the loft :eek:.Total of 4119.
And not one item has been missed :j:j.
