Oooooh,yes please :j:j:j.
I would be in my element.Just keep me topped up with cups of tea,and I would love it :j.
I set alarm for early-ish this morning to ensure I go to charity shop before they tried to sell that toy I had donated without all the pieces yesterday.Well,I found the toy, priced up and on the shelves, ready to sell :eek:.I explained what hadhappened yesterday, and they were most appreciative.
So,now I can list,out of the loft:
1060:assemble a roller-coaster marble run-donated
1061-1062:2 McDonalds toys
And out of the house:
Recycled:
2534-2535:boxes of 2 toys with missing pieces ,the contents of which were either recycled,or set aside to take to the tip (Magic Marvin's magic kit,Magna Colour toy)
Donated:
2536:toiletries hanging storage net
2537:fingerprint kit toy
2538:Frozen lunch-box,never used

Welcome,stellata.
Moving into a new house is a great opportunity to "start again" :j.Are you still unpacking? If so,as you unpack each item, ask yourself if each item is worthy of space in your new home.I did this last year when we moved back into our house after having an extension.
We had boxed everything up,stored it around parts of the house that weren't about to be demolished. Then when we moved back in (even before, while we were staying with inlaws for 5 months),I would go through a box at a time, and ask myself "Now,we are going through all this inconvenience and expense of moving house/having house extended. The new extension/house is beautiful. Is this item worthy of the space it takes up?"It made me really question how much value I place in each item.
As a result of having spent about 13 hours this weekend looking for my children's birth certificates (because I hadn't put them back where they belong when I last used them for anything, nearly 2 years ago!),I have decided to start concentrating on decluttering papers.I am very bad at throwing out papers (What if there is another PPI scandal? What if I need this payslip?).And I keep alot of sentimental stuff, but am not very good at filing it in any order.
Time to start getting it all together. And I am looking forward to the challenge :j.It will be a nice change of pace to sit and sort through papers,a bit at a time, shredding as I go.Different to looking through toys, counting pieces, bundling up ,driving to charity shops....
Am not sure how to measure paper, really. This morning I read through 4 old magazines, ready to declutter those,so will count that as item numbers 2542-2545.
How to count the 4.5" (11.5 cm) tall pile of papers I decluttered while looking for birth certificates,I am not sure.
2546:Also out with the recycling,went a children's cardboard book,which had originally contained magnets,but magnets were long-gone.SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76
