Today has been DIY shopping, cooking and painting. Nipped into home bargains for some shopping and spotted some J20 bonbon sweets. DS loves J20s so I popped them in the basket and have put them in the christmas box. The kids bedrooms are coming on very nicely.

Peppa- Hope your mum is feeling better soon. Sounds like you have found your christmas mojo.
Vintagehistorian- I love it when I find christmas things I have forgotten about. Sounds like you have a good plan for budgeting for christmas.
Treasurequeen- I too am a notebook addict! I love them.
Free- What a lovely surprise! Hope you have had a fabulous day out today.
vulpix-sounds like you are having fun with your DS. Oh to be young again lol x
murie= hope you are ok xx

    big hugs and christmas sprinkles.

I am still on the hunt for a christmas tree so if anybody spots any bargains please give me a shout xx

FREE that sounds like a fabulous day, hope you had a lovely day and finished it off with lots of squishy cuddles with Thumper. How thoughtful if DD and what a lovely surprise. You've reminded me I must get my Christmas bracelet out, I bet it will need a polish. I know it needs sorting out, I bought a bigger bracelet because the original one was too tight with all the charms on but the new one feels a bit too big so I'm wondering if I should sell some charms and stick with the original one or get another small one and split the charms between the two. Def need to get it out and have a look. Now repeat after me, I must not run out of my pills! ;)

0462 I bet the kids are really excited about their rooms. Yes, I think my mojo has returned and DD2 asked what we're going to be doing for Christmas dinner this year and she's usually the one who moans about talking about Christmas too early. I think we might go out to eat like we did a few years ago - will probably depend on what the menu is like though.

Well, the electrics (first fix) are done in the new kitchen and the dust has died down. DGD has arrived for a week, the plumber comes Tuesday, I have both DGSs tomorrow afternoon and Wednesday and we have no idea whether or not mum will be coming out of hospital. It's going to be a busy week :D
It's the most wonderful timeof the year :

Just rushing in with this little gem which has appeared on HotUK. May be of use to someone who just wants something inexpensive.

Sorry, will catch up properly when I get a chance, hope you all doodling well.

Peppa - Glad to see your Mum is on the mend. How about getting a necklace chain and putting a few charms on it? Then you can have a matching bracelet/necklace Christmassy set. :D

I went to a local craft fair on sunday. Didn't buy anything but I can't stop thinking about one stall. It had themed storybook pillows. So a cushion made with adorable Peter Rabbit fabric with a pocket containing a Peter Rabbit book. They were gorgeous and I think my niece would love one. She'd probably prefer the less pretty Queen Elsa one though. ;) I'm slightly annoyed I didn't buy one for her for Christmas now. Although she was with us at time!

Went to the GPs today to discuss my last ECG results. Was quite suprised to come out with a referral to the cardiologists after confirmation there are actual anomalies with my heart. Plus she said she didn't think it was down to my ME/CFS - quite a shocking thing to hear when you've spent years having symptoms put down to your chronic illness! So all in all, despite the GP saying she could hear a murmur and the borderline abnormalities on the ECGs, I came out quite positive. Does that make me weird? :rotfl:

Hope everyone is keeping well and starting to feel the Christmas tingles (that sounds very wrong). I joined Pinterest the other day so I'm gradually builing up a festive board of things I'll never do. :rotfl:

Freespirit hope you had a great time and lots of cuddles. What an amazing gift from dd what charms did you get?

Peppa glad to hear mum is improving sounds like you have your hand full this week though

Clumsy You have a reason to feel positive about the results as at least now you can get the treatment you need. When you have a long term condition they can be far to quick to dismiss your concerns and I think to a point you even assume its probably related yourself so don't always get things checked.

GTQ I managed to get one of those dec sets for the boys tree the other day great value the colours might not be to everyone's taste but they were happy

Ordered Taz some kinetic sand & accessories from the entertainer today as on offer a bargain at £2 ish a set as its one of the things he's asked for for his birthday/xmas
The argos book currently has pretty much everything circled :rotfl:
so no idea what to get as his main gift yet

Peppa- hope things are looking up for your mom today xx. you lucky devil having too many Pandora charms! (Are you shattered still?)

Clumsy- I second what Mandco says x

046- yes Im OK, am in the middle of a never ending vertigo attack so haven't been logged in on here and just noticed that on my phone.

GTQ- those decs are a bargain- they could be sprayed different colours if not right as thet are. Unfortunately none in stock by me.

Kerri- zip lock bags are a good idea to keep the smell 'in'!

Mandco- I remember when my DD was little she poured some kinetic sand down the bathroom sink- we had to take the sink apart! It was banned in our house after that lol.
    lovin' this site!

GETTINGTHEREQUICKLY ooh I quite like the colours of those decs

CLUMSY those storybook pillows sound fab, that is usually me wanting things when its too late! Glad you have got your referral and it can now be sorted properly

MANDCO I got a Carol Singers charm and Wrapped Present, Santas Sack, Letter to Santa, Reindeer snowglobe and a Bauble they are so cute, I used to love my kids writing their lists from the argos catalogue :D

MURIE did you really need to ask haha I had Sticky Toffee Pudding with Salted Caramel Sauce and Vanilla Bean Ice Cream it was gorgeous and not sickly lovely with a coffee to round it all off. My kids never had any of the kinetic sand it couldn't have been out when they were little

good morning, reporting in, family have gone back to China, left yesterday morning, DGS dad drove them to the airport in NEV the shreds car, tears all round, but they will be back at Christmas. l have read through all l have missed, but have retained very little, sorry.
Peppa, hope your mum is better soon, Free, keep taking the tablets. l don't have a Pandora bracelet, but love hearing about yours, those on here have. Free, your DD was a peach to do that for you.
No, no, no, l must not buy those baubles, just because they are in stock near me, oops, l think l just have!
My lovely neighbours who are moving away after over 30 years have given me their almost new shed, Nev and DGS put it up for me, and the nibs made it into a 'play house' with everything in it even a houseplant! they ate all their meals in it and wanted to sleep in it. (it got dark and the torch batteries died, so they came in and went to bed)
Another of my neighbours came and curled DGD and DGS' girlfriends hair with her magic machine, so we had a sort of 'girl-power-party' and the girlfriend took fotos, had one of DGD enlarged for me and DGS framed it. Looks lovely.
Now it is back to reality and need to get up. DD has to go to a hospital appointment (1 1/2hours drive away) about sleep apnoea, so tail feathers a-shaking, sorry about the opus post, mrsl shambles off into the distance. xxxxx
