V the tinted moisturiser is a good idea, I've noticed my skin is duller than it used to be too so brightening it up can only help. Now you can see my eyebrows I've started supplementing them a bit with an eyebrow pencil - my sis had hers tattooed and by BIL said she looked like the chinaman character from Benny Hill and kept calling her a sirry irriot. :D You're right re the biopsy, I think that's it, I just want to be left alone.

MRSRYAN printing off the recipes and putting them in a nice folder is a good idea. I wish my mum still cooked and I'd have done that but she's more into microwaving ready meals these days, she says at 82 she can't be bothered to cook. I tend to go with photo related things now as she likes pics of the great grandchildren so I think it might be photo coasters for her this year.

Oh heck, I'm a bit worried about this eyebrow thing now, I've booked to have mine microbladed. Mine are ok but long and quite fine. I got them threaded like I usually do a while back and the silly woman took one half the width of the other, and plucked so much I had a bald patch mid along it too  so, I haven't been back for over two months now, thankfully it's grown back not too bad and I'm a lot better at filling in the dodgy bits but got fed up and booked the appt to treat myself, now having a serious wobble about it ..esp the cost

Sorry, what I actually meant to post Peppa is if your mum likes ready meals, Cook! (Www.cookfood.net) do lovely 'home made' ones, and deliver too. They're not cheap but worth it for a treat. Just a thought for her.

Thanks KERRI I'll have a look at the meals. Don't worry about your eyebrows, I know DD2 who is our guru of all things appearance wise is very in favour and I think with my sis it was just that she usually has hardly any eyebrows at all so it was quite a radical difference (plus BIL has a very strange sense of humour :D).

Am I allowed shorten Girlinayellowdress to GYD please, because although I love it my iPad keeps changing it :D Actually I'm just lazy.

0462 I love decluttering, it makes me feel so proactive and sort of free. I meant to say taking the Christmas bits to hospital is a good idea, maybe look on it as time to focus rather than wasted time. I'd still rather be doing it at home of course lol.

I've decided I'm def not staying at the hospital all afternoon. I only live 15 mins away so I'm absolutely coming home after admission so I can have a decent meal here then I can go back for the evening. :D

Kerri- my DD had her eyebrows micro bladed 2 weeks ago and hers look fine, they were much darker for a day or two but soon settled in to a really good colour and they look very natural. We were all poised to not laugh at her when she came home after having them done (we're a really supportive family like that lol!) but they didn't look odd and she was, and still,is very happy with them. She will need the top up appointment though to sort out an area where it has faded more than the rest so looks a tad patchy. Go for it but do your reviews of the practitioner first as there are a lot of unscrupulous ones out there judging by the reviews she did prior to getting them done.

Peppa- I don't blame you for not wanting to sample the NHS's finest delicacies if you don't have to.

GYD (you are stuck with that now lol!) - good to see you x Two sets of gin baubles are perfectly acceptable in my eyes!!

I'm annoyed at the mo. About 3 months ago my kids were popping to the bank when they saw the car in front driving erratically and the driver apparently hitting out at the passenger. The car stopped and a 'person' (not what I want to call him) got out and pulled the passenger out and started beating her, then she got her little boy out of the car and put him in the front while she go into the back. All this was captured on my sons dash cam as he pulled up a distance behind him. The kids reported all this to the police , handed over the recordings, gave a statement each and had home visits from the police officers in charge. This 'person' was hiding in the shed when the police went to arrest him, was TWICE over the legal alcohol limit (at 10.30am!!) and had( it transpired) a history of domestic violence. The police convinced his wife to press charges (this time) and he went to court last week and pleaded guilty to domestic violence and driving under the influence. What sentence did he get??? 80 hours community service to be carried out over the next 12 months. I am FUMING and the kids are left wondering why they bothered if this is all that happens. They were very upset at the violence and I think they will carry that with them for a very long time, particularly my DD. And on top of that the little lad was witness to it all. The police officer said its not uncommon to be given such a sentence for these offences but I am disgusted that it is so lenient and the kids are too. (I admit I don't know his side of the story but nothing justifies that kind of behaviour.)

ARGH!! Sorry for the rant but I just wanted to get it off my chest. Right Im off for a coffee to calm down ....

Oh and GTQ_ hope you have a good week too!

MURIE that's awful, it really does annoy me that people get longer sentences for things to do with money than they do for violence. It makes you wonder what justice really is about. How horrible for your two (though hats off to them for being prepared to get involved, so many people won't) and what effect must that sort of situation have on the child and his/her future relationships. I think the police must find it so frustrating too. I do hope the woman has left him. Maybe GYD (catchy isn't it) can send you one of her gin baubles to take the edge off.
