Just watching this weeks Lucifer I recorded (wearing my eye patch of course) and the Coke Christmas ad was on in the break, first time I've seen it this year, I normally fast forward the ads so I actually had to rewind to watch it.

It's snowing here,heavily.Wont stick tho as the ground is too warm.

The electrician is here replacing the fan in the bathroom.wicked cackle here.I have just invited him to Mr V's party with the intention of introducing him to a single lady friend.;)

Will be off out shortly for a mooch round the shops.I must not buy any more decorations!

It will be useful GTQ I love the smell too, I've got an old Radley that still smells like leather, it's why I'm so disappointed with this one

My tree is up up :xmastree::santa2: the house looks great. Full on grotto mode lol.
Going to have a nice hot chocolate with marshmallows, cream and a candy cane later while watching a movie.

Bought two rooted and potted Christmas trees today (only small ones about 2ft tall) - going to have one either side of the front porch then after Christmas have them in the back garden then bring them out again next year. I think I've just got a thing about Christmas trees this year.

Evening everyone,

Well I finally bought my dad's christmas present (which will now be joint with my mum and her cardigan will be for her birthday), got them a wireless Arlo security system as they have been burgled twice and he gets very paranoid when they go away (and as his closest relative I get the job of going over to check his doors and windows all the time!). Was £96 from amazon in the sale so I was well happy with that. I have the newer version so know it will do what he needs it to do so he can 'watch' his house from his phone

Bit annoyed as ordered DD one of those 2 x 2 rubix cubes through amazon which turned out to be from china and it hasn't turned up so now on the hunt for another one that isn't rediculously expensive as its only a stocking filler.

Still waiting on MIL's cutter scissory thingys from china for her yarn hamper, though I now have an embroidery machine so I reeeeeeally need a set too is it wrong to nick them when they turn up?

Still no wrapping done, or any tidying in preparation of the tree! really need to motivate myself!

Well I hope you manage to get a 'smelly' Radley bag Peppa :rotfl: though I do love the smell of leather and think I would have been disappointed too. Hope your eye gets better soon

:eek: Vulpix, you brave lady frogging your blanket! I hate doing it (i've even been known to put one down and start again with another yarn just so I don't have to undo the work :rotfl: ) hopefully the next pattern will be better though.

Our town centre was blocked off tonight so i'm assuming its the big switch on tomorrow, i wont be going as its just too cold for me, stupid immune system does not allow me outside for any length of time in this weather I've actually never seen the light switch on anywhere
