Having a :coffee:, being picked up at 11 sI should get something done. In theory. Ironing would be good...and I never put the board away after last time so it shouldn't take much effort!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

FBO what a nightmare. Give them all lots of spud peeling to do when they arrive!
Valli as others have said, there are no rules or patterns. At times you will cope admirably and at others you will cry, also admirably.
ATB A couple of flower photos here The little lights don't show up - in the front door they are tiny white stars, and on the lounge one they are little red lights. In the latter, last week's version had all red carnations which looked better - this week I could only find white with red edges! I only took one photo of the church "Christmas cracker" and it's pretty poor so I didn't put that in the album.
Have updated lists today.
- 1 load washing done
- milk cancelled
- last couple of cards addressed and gone with Mr N to town; he has a list!
- bird feeders filled
- church times checked in Mum's area
- charity gift certificate printed for friend
Rest of today must be mostly devoted to report writing although I may have to get a coffee first!Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Narco - they are beautiful, you are very talented x
Well I don't know what's come over me this morning, but we have been FLINGING! Been through all the craft stuff, play-doh, colouring books, DDs tights and underwear, and DS toys. Loads of stuff in the bins, DDs outgrown bits bagged up for a friend and just general flingage! It's been fab!
Nephews will be here shortly, so no doubt the place will look like the wreckage of Carthage when they have left.
It's lovely being at home and not having to rush around xMFW

Well OH is off for 3 weeks now so he's been given his instructions and when I left for work he was in the middle of dusting and hoovering the living room. So should all be lovely and clean when I get home at 7:30 tonight
Thanks for all the supportive messages last week, they were very much appreciated. Stress is easing now, although not completely resolved I am feeling back to myself mostly!!
Hugs to Valli, as others have said, just do as you can, there are no rules or timelines! It sounds silly but I always found talking to the person helps a little.
ATB good news on the paid invoice (I missed it in last weeks thread!), I bet that's a load off your mind.
Hope everyone else is more ready for Christmas than I am, going to be a hectic week for everyone I'm sure!!0 -

OH [STRIKE]dumped at[/STRIKE] transported to station, quick trip to Sainsbobs and then to a petrol station for money off fill up, ready for trip into the South Hams for the turkey on Friday. Flying, tidying, listies sorted and very thick pea soup made to go with the scraps of ham from slicing. Yumptious.
I got dumped on by a passing seagull. I know it's supposed to be lucky, but still ....Better is good enough.0 -
(((Hugs))) and coping vibes to Valli. Give yourself plenty of time to grieve. One day you will have more happy memories than sad ones.
Nice flowers, Narc0.
FBO, words fail me....
Today I have completed and submitted my assignment :j Just hope it's good enough for a pass mark.
I've also done 3x WM, and I took DH to the GP surgery to get his new meds sorted and collected him an hour later. We're now going shopping, and then I'm hoping to join the Old Wives for carol singing to housebound and elderly friends this evening.
(((Hugs))) spoons and sticks all round, as needed x0
