As per another thread it's the size of your telly isn't it?

Well it was, but a few years ago big tellys became the norm.

    I had a 42 flat early on - a good 13 years ago, so I am a bit Chavy :-(

BUT in my house the sofas face each other rather than the TV so maybe upper middle?

But I spoil it with the sky dish :-(

Posh people don't have TVs or at least not in their main living room. They have a smaller seperate room for TV viewing.

This is hilarious. So in your head all low income people are clinically obese and all those on 50k or above are size 0. Who knew your weight could define your class.

According to your made up list financially I'm 'Managerial Class' but as for the rest I don't do dinner parties I'm definitely overweight and I'm a single parent oh and the accent is Belfast nothing remotely posh about that.

Think you need to come out of the bubble you have created around you and actually look at the real world.

Just had a thought, is that income per person?
Because 25k each is barely getting by with the cost of living as it is!

    Also what sort of holidays?
Are we talking the Carribean, the Maldives & Kenya or are we taking butlins, pointins & haven?

The new posh is no TV, I've not built anywhere in our lounge for one!

And "music genre - pop" makes me feel sick. I'd love to slap the OP actually.

Resorting easily to fisticuffs is a sure sign that one has not escaped one's lower class background.:naughty:

Perhaps we could consider de-bagging him in the quad after chapel on Sunday, however. :)

Ah, a duel? Hmmmm....you're about 150 years late for one of those.

Sadly, these days he can't even be given a good thrashing without the danger that he'd go for compo.

I think the best we might do is hide a neodymium magnet in his iPhone.;)
  • More impressed by nice detached house and average other things
..and I'm wondering what is meant by "building space for a tv":rotfl:.

Does leaving enough space for it on top of a sideboard count?:)

Cabinet shelf the right size, corner with a unit put in place, wall space designed to be free in the layout for one. Dunno, it can be anything you want.
  • As someone who falls into the executive class, am I not allowed in a pub again? Do I need to go on a diet or rush facing the sack?

Any executive only earning £50k has negotiated their salary badly. It's more like £100k + benefits and bonus package.

Also, what is a perfect upbringing? I went to a northern comprehensive school, got to uni on clearance but fit into the executive post band easily.
