    Hi all, quick question.

Currently planning and booking what will be my second trip for November. It'll be 3 of us this time sharing a double queen room.

When doing some hotel quotes with 2 people in that room the prices are a good wedge cheaper than if booking with 3 people. My question is can you get away with booking for two adults and having 3 in the room?

Oh and whilst I'm here, is 4 hotels for a two week stay a bit OTT?

Haven't been since 2015 but have managed to book 3 nights at the MGM and 3 nights at the Bellagio, all fully comped bar the resort fees. Was going to book 4 nights at The Linq and and trying to working out the remaining hotel having not ruled out downtown yet if any one has suggestions!

Just realised, this isn't a quick question!! Thanks in advance though.

A shameless bump up of my original post :A

    Hi Dannodw,

Not sure I can answer your question in full but I don't think 4 hotels in two weeks is a bad idea, just remember all the packing and unpacking you'd have to do, I hate doing that so on my last trip I stayed where I was for the six nights. I was very happy with my choice of where to stay though. I would suggest though that you save the best till last so don't compare everything to the first amazing suite you might have booked.

I have no experience of extra people in rooms being a solo traveller most of the time so can't give you advice on that i'm afraid. Not sure if Stuie did something like that on his trip a while back?

    Hope that helps a little.
  • Flight home has been delayed by almost four hours - extra Vegas time isn't exactly the worst thing in the world though! Virgin gave us $40 in refreshment vouchers that we've just spent on ludicrously expensive fruit cups and organic crisps and the bonus silver lining is that, as we didn't use our free lounge passes in Manchester, we've been able to use them for the Club lounge here - FAR superior to either of the Manchester lounges, we're sitting eating complimentary jelly bellys, I'm drinking complimentary 'champagne' (Freixenet) and hubs has been spoilt for choice by the beer selection. Best if all though, I've had a lovely hot shower and got changed ready for the flight. Blooming marvellous!

Danno, how u manage to get 6 nights fully comped at Bellagio & Mgm ?? Guessing u rolled in some cash at Bellagio in the past ?

We did 2 weeks last year, stayed in "Mirage - Cosmo - Monte Carlo - Luxor" .. Changing hotels made the holiday feel like it lasted longer!!

3 of us went this year, but in the Luxor, I asked for the Queen suite, based on 2 people staying.... no 3rd person fee :)

39 days, 22 hours, 38 minutes to go!!!! :D:D And I managed to snag the 2 x Aria buffet reward yesterday on MyVegas, so I have:

    2 x Aria buffet
    $50 credit Times Square
    $50 credit Rice & Co.
    1x dinner buffet Mandalay Bay
    $25 dinner credit NFI
2 x tickets to the Foundation Room.

Not sure what else, if anything, I'll get. We did the Maverick 2-4-1 helicopter flight last year. I'm hoping maybe a good band will be announced for House of Blues and there's a MyVegas reward.

I have read Stuies instructions for adding friends etc, but before that stage - Does my OH register on Mlife first, and can she link her facebook account to Mlife during the Mlife registration process ?

It doesn't matter about the way around you do it, I don't believe. I keep a separate FB account for playing MyVegas so I can add all and sundry as neighbours and not bother about it. I was playing MyVegas for quite a long time before I joined MLife.

I just booked another trip to Vegas this year for the weekend of the Mayweather vs McGregor fight. I had always promised my son (21) if Mayweather ever fought again I would take him.

I had read a story online that Mayweather productions had booked the MGM for 26th for an undisclosed event, so booked 2 economy flights using my Virgin miles plus £220 in taxes (each). The next day the fight was announced for the 26th !! I have a very happy son now.

I already had a trip booked for August , I leave Vegas on the 13th and go back 10 days later <3

We are staying with a relative so accommodation is free for the 5 days we are there.

I believe only with partner of MLife, like certain airlines, or with the MLife credit card, and I'm not sure if it's even available to people outside the US. https://www.mlife.com/en/overview/preferred-partners.html

MLife is like any loyalty points scheme - the more you spend in an MGM property, the more points you get. If you get enough points you move up the tiers in MLife. Sapphire, Pearl, Gold, etc. and each one bring different perks such as skipping the lines at buffets and so on.

I always found half the time the machines didnt recognise your MLife card, or you had to insert them multiple times for it to pick your details up

And almost certainly you will leave it in a machine at least once :D

I did first trip, but by the second it was ingrained into my brain to collect the card before moving on. :D The casinos used to give out those springy key chain things so you could attach it to your card and you couldn't forget it.
