Hey Frogga, don't beat yourself up for something we all do from time to time! Tomorrow's a brand new day, remember? Too many folks need you on here so you can't give up. Anyway, admitting you've had a slight slip up is a sort of encouragement in itself and means we know you're always honest with yourself and us, IYSWIM
I've now lost 4.5lbs - but only cos I was so unwell at the w/e. Am really trying not to just stuff it all back on now I'm feeling more like food again.Resolution:
Think twice before spending anything!0 -
Evening all
Frogga have replied to your PM...;) ...
Don't worry folks frogga won't give in - she is made of stronger stuff than that :T ..plus - i will PM her into submission if i have to...and you wouldn't wish that on anyone :rotfl:..and i also have your address and im not affraid to use it:p ... its a shame we didn't all get to know each other before i left the country as i lived near Ipswich (near frogga) and we could have met up...what a lucky escape you had frogga
Tomorrow morning is a whole new start....and we want...ney..expect to see your post on here
Leopardlady...good luck with the job
Hi and welcome mushypea.... your headache could be down to having eaten so little... hope it passes soon - and have a good time out tonight
bobbadog...woohoo what a loss:T ... well done to you!!! i will post some recipes -of the "treat" variety starting tomorrow...some of them may be of use to you....
meanmarie.... that sounds like a really nice days food.. bar the bovril... if you don't feel like weighing in yet.. why bother - we all know the upset those little (and in my case - not so little:p ) numbers can cause.. if you are feeling good in yourself... keep on as you are...:T
Madmae.. well done on "making" yourself cook that mince... its not always easy is it!!! thats why i try and keep some extra HM portions of everything in the freezer... then i have no excuse to eat out:rolleyes: ..get home and if desperate i zap something in the micro...quick but still OS and tasty:T .
Im a carbohydrate junky and just adore potato..i too would choose it over choccy :T ..the only way im not bothered about is chips...
Hi there FC united and welcome... you have just described the "old" me down to a tee!!!! if i had one item that i "shouldn't" that was it... i considered myself as having failed and went into "pac man mode" as i call it. I have finally managed to beat that compulsion..and now there is nothing on the "shouldn't" list...just lots of OS HM meals in smaller portions and as a result im not craving anything...
Toonie.. your meal plan is soooo Hobbit like :j -anyone having watched lord of the rings knows what i mean.. It really made me smile
So glad you made it through your last day of work ok:T
Kittyscarlett...nobbies are mmmm i can't be the only one that actually eats them on there own surelyi adore brussels-great big dishes full-me and hubby get through about 3kilo a week:p ... mind you the only veg i don't like is fennel..all the others are great....we get through vast amounts-mind you hubby doesn't eat fruit  .. piggy here eats that too:rotfl: ....
Well we had the corned beef hash an dumpling for tea :j ... have put a portion in the fridge for lunch tomorrow, and what was left has had lots of dried pinto, aduki beans, lentils and split peas added and stock..cooked and then blitzed into a huge vat of really thick soup.
Hubby took similar this morning and had the blokes complaining as he had home made soup and bread..it was freezing.. and he was toasty warm and stuffed.....little does he know how many beans n pulses i whacked in there:rotfl:
Well i went out and cut the lawn this afternoon... thought it was a bit of extra exercise
Tomorrow im gonna get the windows done, vaccume through, mop the kitchen, hall and bathroom and as much else as i can think of... anything to avoid proper "exercise";)
well i had better get off.... hope you all have a good evening :T
Ps sorry if i have missed anyone... hugs to all

Hi Frogga please dont give up! as everyone's has said you have been an inspiration to us - we need you!you have 2 weeks left to the next weigh-in so as the song says pick yourself up, dust yourself down and start all over again!;) none of us are angels believe me we all have our slip-ups but you havent put any weight on so look at the big picture and see how brilliantly you've done so far!:T
has been a good day for me except for eating several of DSs toffees:rolleyes:
Am going to put my muesli in to soak now for brekkie
back in the morning!Do what you love :happyhear0 -
Frogga, if your post had been from someone else on this thread, what would you say to them?
Chin up, girl and remember how strong you are.May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -
Evening Ladies,
Hope you've all had a nice day.
Frogga just hop back on, doesn't matter - we are not on a 'diet' anymore, its all about changing the way you look at food, and as others have said you haven't put any on!!! Its answering a need for something? My friend does the same thing to 'punish' herself.
Had a walk around Mr T's today. He was selling off seafood for £1 per pack, including Tiger prawns reduced from £4.99 so got some & made paella tonight : )
Picked up lots of veggies, including frozen which as there are only 2 of us sometimes works out a lot cheaper (we don't end up throwing some away).
Went out in some jeans I've had for 8 years today - as J said I don't wear them out because my bum is usually too big to get in them....ok they were a size 20 but what the heck. I even had a quick look at H&M window today - normally avoid those things like the plauge...anyway rambled on enough
Keep up the good work gals

Blimey MrsM, if you and your OH eat that many Brussels sprouts per week its a wonder you don't harness the excess, er " energy " somehow
I had a friend who used to put the horrid things in curry.... can you think of a more fatal combination !!" Baggy, and a bit loose at the seams.. "~ November 8th 2008. Now totally DEBT FREE !~0 -
Hi me again
Got through the evening with a pack of mini ryvita 3% fat and some seeds and 2 cups of tea(decaff) Going to bed now. Have a good sleep everyone...lovely brand new day tomorrow.0 -
Hi Everyone - just had a quick scan through todays posts and feel a bit shamefaced to say that I have had a really bad food day - I have got this really sore throat so have been craving "comfort" food - had loads of tea and toast and made a rice pudding. Frogga - I'm sorry you have had a little slip but you will still have lost weight on 1 November I'm sure - you have great determination and spirit and I'm quite confident that you will put this behind you. You have been a great support to me, along with everyone on here so don't let it get you down, just view it as a little meander along the straight and narrow.
I made some all bran loaf the other day and it is lovely - I made it like this:
1 mug full of all bran
1 mug full of dried fruit (any kind will do - I used sultanas)
1 mug full of Splenda (I know, I know its not good for you but it does keep the calories right down)
1 mug full of flour
1 mug full of skimmed milk (or soya milk for veggies and vegans out there)
I also threw in a handful of chopped walnuts which I had laying around and which would have gone off.
You just soak the all bran, fruit and sweetner in the milk for at least an hour until all the all bran is dissolved, then stir in the flour and mix. It will be a sloppy batter, but that is fine. Pour into a greased (I put a bit of silicone paper in the bottom) 2lb loaf tin and bake at 180 for one hour. I found that I used a really big mug and so had enough stuff to make 2 2lb loaf tin fulls.
When it comes out of the oven, take it out of the tin and wrap it immediately in foil and leave overnight.
I have been having 2 slices for breakfast with a little low fat spread on and it really really fills you up.
Mrs M - how do you manage to eat all those sprouts??? I love them but only ever get through about 1lb a fortnight!!! I think I should try and eat more fruit and veg - you seem to be doing really well eating loads of it - I just hate preparing it though!
Anyway, hope you are all okay, and here's to a better eating day tomorrow!Jane

Reading all the other posts, I agree, Frogga don't give up and don't give in you're only human (or are you?).
I was doing okay yesterday until DH brought home some clotted crean fudge from MIL's - so I ate them all - better to get it all over with???
Finding it hard at the mo, as it's school hols. DH woke me up at 7.30 with tea and toast and jam AWW bless him, but it's the holidays I don't want to get up at 7.30!!!! I'm so ungrateful!
So for breakafast I had rice crispies
SOup for lunch
Chicken, peas and garlic bread (not much) for dinner
But in between lots of cups of tea and mum gave me caramel shortcake, my absolute downfall, and I've just had half a pint of cider!!
This is like going to confession!
