OOOHHHH
3 of you snook in whilst i was typing my essay....
Whatatwit..... enjoy your meal out....
The ebay thing.... i have to say i would be very nervous of buying of any value from china... that is one of the places that seems to cause most chaos.... the problem is, that quite often because you are having something made up...you pay and then wait..and wait and a lot of people have reported that they haven't received the items.. but usually you have gone past the period of time that you are allowed to put a claim in to get your money back via paypal/ebay.... Its not so bad if its nothing you have to have for a set date...but if a bridesmaid dress doesn't turn up - you are going to have to buy another one:eek:
How long can you leave it before buying a dress??? only if you are hoping to lose a little, perhaps you may go down a dress size..and be able to save yourself the alteration fees.... or how about going for seperates??? you can get some lovely bodices n skirts..that way you would be able to buy to fit...
what sort of size range are we looking for? (don't answer if you dont want)..what colours etc ...just thought we could keep our eyes out...im always on line looking at stuff...:p
Taplady..i used to like the WW meals..but not the puds..far too sweet..i used to love the lemon chicken rissottooh and the hot pot mmm
I agree with having a little bit of what you fancy.... its usually enough to cure that craving isn't it..yet if you resist and resist..you end up eating more-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
Well, it serves me right, I've had a rubbish week been a real Miss Piggy:o I've weighed myself this morning and .............have put 3lbs on
Deserve it, no excuses!
I've got my grandchildren for the weekend:eek: so I've decided that I'd be better starting again on Monday - I'll need to eat to keep my strength up with a 5 and nearly 2 year old in the house!!:D
Off shopping tonight so I'll menuplan this afternoon and make sure I've got my snacks in for when the evening munchies start.
This might do me good actually, I knew I'd put on but 3lbs WAS a shock as although I've pigged I have done some form of exercise (swim, gym or dance) every day
Never mind......I WILL lose it for Christmas!!:rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
Morning rockie...
Don't worry about a bit of a gain....we all do it... and at least you have not gone down the route of.."oh blow it - i may as well carry on" -i have been down that particular road more times than i care to think about  ...
looking after a 2 and 5 year old...i would think that will give you heaps of exercise;) this weekend ..... and they will keep you destracted :T ...if some what pooped:p ...
Have fun with the little ones this weekend-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
Ugh, I do loathe that numbface feeling after the dentist MrsM, mind you the pain feeling is worse ! I thought dentists weren't supposed to do work on your teeth if you had an infection but lob you some antibiotics and tell you to come back when they'd worked ? Very well done on your weight loss, yes couldn't agree more with your " this isn't a diet " comments... as for the sandwiches, yes M & S or Sainsburys have decent sarnies sometimes, sadly I am stuck with the Co-op who are just crawling out of the dark ages as far as sandwiches are concerned..:D either that or newsagent sarnies which are even worse, just barely past the " bread and scrape " level !
Yep Frogga is up and about early putting the rest of us laggards to shame as usualhope your day goes well. Whata, you're quite welcome to borrow a few inches of my bosom permanently, how much of the 42D would you like ? LOL. Taplady, actually have had WW curry in the past, its not bad at all ( I can't do their soups though, eep ).
Had rather bad sleepless night due to last minute personal stressiness before bed last night, so am dogtired. Have started day with mint tea, am probably going to have toast and a banana for breakfast, or for lunch if work gets in the way. Need to pop out to shops and restock on milk and veg when I'm off duty but am going to head to bed for a long nap after that.
Vague plans for evening meal - either scampi from the freezer, hm potatoe wedges and peas, or possibly hm sosmix burgers with onion and herbs, baked potato and salad - we'll see !" Baggy, and a bit loose at the seams.. "~ November 8th 2008. Now totally DEBT FREE !~0 -
Hi.
This is my first post on here, although I've read the thread a couple of times. Just wanted to ask Whata - have you considered making your own dress? Then you'd be able to adjust it as and when... Either that or see if there's a dress maker locally who would be able to do it for you - I'm sure it would be much cheaper, particularly for two dresses.
To everyone else, thanks for the advice - it has kick started me!0 -

..we won't let anyone down the slippery slope... you have to get past the rest of us..we are lined up right across it...try and get past us if you can :rotfl:
Just the fact that you say you aren't waking up in the middle of the night beating yourslef up...is a great step...so keep up the good work..you are getting there..just keep focusing on every day as though its the only one that matters... we can't do anything about yesterday, or forsee what we will do tomorrow...but we can control what we do today..;)
[/quote]
thank you for that, off i go, back up the slope, be damned if i'm gonna try to go down past you lot....far too scarey :rotfl: :rotfl:

May Grocery challenge £150 136/1500 -
Right I am starting the challenge tomorrow, after tonight's Asda shop. I will be doing it OS, but with elements of SW in there.... cooking from scratch, but having my green days and red days, if that makes any sense... at least until I start to lose a bit.
It means no processed food other than tinned toms and b beans and stuff. Just good, decent HM food, a little of what I fancy padded out with veggies. Will let you know how I get on. Gotta do something. My a**e is big enough to show films on !
Wish me luck won't you all?? I won't tell you how much I weigh but it's *ahem* stone 13 and 3/4 - determined it'll not break the *ahem*teen stone mark !0 -
well done mrs m and anyone whose losses ive missed

i havent been able to get in the last few days but i havent been too bad, i had a wispa today but it was yummy and actually wispa is one of the few chocs i can eat slowly.
Im supposed to be going to a picnic tomorrow, i only have to feed me and the kids but im really stuck on what to take without overeating or eating the wrong things, usually id go for sausage rolls and stuff but i was thinking more sensible food and im a bit stuck. any ideas? im going to do a weetabix cake and take it to share as there will be a few of us going. but other than that im stuck0 -
