Good morning All
Meanmarie....
hope you have a great time....
The bottle of wine counts as part of you getting into holiday mode..don't worry about it....at least it was lovely.
Floyd... well done on not eating what they offered at the cage fight..didnt sound very tasty did it!!! i thought it was bad here..only getting cola lite or water as "diet" drinks...but having NO drinks at all...crikey....
Got up at what i thought was an ungodly hour...i was thinking about you frogga and your weigh in.... i was excited to see your post this morning:D ..
and the result was well worth the early get up :T .... I know you want instant results (don't we all)...but as odds points out ..if we want to keep it off, we need to be sensible about it.... and change our eating habbits for good.... which is why we aren't "dieting" any longer
on here we are "making healthier eating choices for life"...the OS way :T ....ooh ooh frogga dont also forget the £40 you have saved by not going to a class and the extra funds that have been cut off of your monthly shopping budget fighting the binge demon inside!! just think about those things too :T .....
Well i hope anyone else weighing in has a good result..... and hope we alll have a great day
Todays meals will be :-
yoghurt for brekkie-once my mouth has woken up:p
lunch-ryvitas with lowfat cream cheese/liver sausage
dinner-HM sausage casserole, with extra veggies and new potatoes
apples/sugar fre jelly if i want anything in between
Exercise wise..i think is going to be:-
cleaning all the windows -inside n out
vaccuming right through
and i may even have a poddle to the garden centre near by...will have a look at the veg seeds for next year..to see what varieties i can get here that i can't get in the UK:T
well folks...keep up the good work-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
Frogga...at least i didn't make you stand on a chair, whilst holding up your birthday cards in front of everyone:rotfl: :rotfl:-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50

Think of it this way, frogga, you lost 18 x 3500 calories = 63,000 - how many more DIDN'T you eat for that much to come off???!???!
1 lb of fat = 3500 calories for those of you that didn't know. Just make sure you gain MUSCLE, frogga, and you'll have actually lost more fat than that and gained muscle.0 -
Hmmmm, I don't get it ? sorry thickie alert:rotfl:Say it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

Well done frogga on the loss, that really is very very good and yes, slower in coming off the more permanent it will be
have not been online here all weekend as have absolutely horrendous time workwise ( I have 2 jobs which are related to each other and work 6 days a week ) including having to deal with a tenant death when I wasn't even on duty, so as can be imagined some things have taken a back seat. Haven't actually binged apart from 3 jaffa cake bars in a row 3am Sunday morning, but havent been eating brilliantly - slipped back onto bought sandwiches, plus cheese on toast and bits of fruit and salad. Am really upset at having to throw food away again because am not using it, but can barely face eating as it is and as feeling nauseous most of the time due to stress levels through the roof, the thought of cooking or even eating " cooked food " if you know what I mean, makes me heave.
Am just going to get through today the best I can and hopefully get back on track more tomorrow." Baggy, and a bit loose at the seams.. "~ November 8th 2008. Now totally DEBT FREE !~0 -
I mean that to lose 18 lb of fat means that you didn't eat 63,000 calories of food. You may have actually lost more fat than that if you gained muscle mass through exercising.0

Just a quick post as I am meant to be getting kids ready for school but had to have a quick look to see how Frogga got on.
I think what you have achieved in a month is FANTASTIC Frogga! But I can totally understand why you feel gutted because I have the same unrealistic expectations too - I always say that if someone said to me "Give me a million pound and I will make you wake up thin tomorrow" I would find the money - by hook or by crook. You MUST focus on what you have achieved and think how far along towards your goal you have come. I think you have done brilliantly well to get through a whole month sticking to your eating plan and I am sure that if you stick with it this time next month you will feel much better.
1st 4lbs is a great weight loss, it truly is!
Hi to everyone else - I will post more later as am in the middle of making packed lunches.Jane

I weighed in this morning (new month/week new start kind of thing) and came in at 15st 4lbs. Thats 1lb up on last week BUT it's still alot lower than the 16st 7lb I weighed in at earlier in the year (I remember it clearly but couldn't bring myself to write it down somewhere).
Making a start already - I have a handful of Cranberry Wheats with skimmed milk and a cup of coffee (white with no sugar) also with skimmed milkMy problem is that I tend to binge
Having a live-in-ex-OH doesn't help (hence forth refered to as OH) as he can eat and drink whatever he wants and NEVER puts on any weight whereas I only have to look at a packet of crisps and all resolve to loose weight goes out the window
:o
This time it will be different. I will get to less than 15st by the end of the month and I will get into the jeans that are hanging in my wardrobe which are crying out to be worn but are still too snug even though they are a size 20 like the ones I'm wearing  So its DD into school, then a walk, but I've decided to change my route as I passed by at the weekend and there are LOADS of roadworks and I'm thinking it's not exactly safe on a dark morning to be walking through a business park! Off to Google Earth to find a route :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Morning all,
Don't have time for a long post this morning - running late. Just had to post to say WELL DONE, FROGGA!!!! :T :T :T That is an excellent result - even if you haven't quite convinced yourself of that yet. You have really given me an incentive now.
Must rush. xx"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."
