    Good afternoon everyone :)

Well, I now have a partner in my weight loss goal. My boyfriend and I have decided to cut down on certain things as we figured we were spoiling each other-he buys cheesecakes, I buy chocolate! He fries eggs and potato cakes for a treat and I love steak pie. So, we're going to stop buying desserts, unless they are fruit ones, or the occasional homemade pud. Also off the list is frying food and chocolate. We had fresh egg pasta, meatballs and homemade tomato sauce for dinner on Friday, which was lovely. My biggest problem is when I'm at work, there is a huge cupboard of chocolate treats which is very tempting, but tomorrow I plan on bringing sultanas and apricots with me for my sweet fix.

Today I had 2 slices multi-grain toast with a scrape of butter on one and a teaspoon of marmalade on the other. I also had a banana. Lunch was a small cheese sandwich and a bowl of yoghurt with fresh raspberries. Dinner will be roast lamb, a couple of potatoes and veggies. I'll have tinned mandarins for dessert.

Love and hugs to everyone xxxx

    Hi frogga

SEEDY bread...is that bread that hangs round in dark alley ways propositioning folks as they go by?:rotfl:

Excuse my "sense of hummour folks" :p have been up a while my mind is probably hysterical through shock:D

    :D :rotfl: I think its hilarious!:T :D

Have to admit to eating 1 piece of DHs toblerone last night, his fault:rolleyes: :D he said "I've saved you the last piece" so I just had to eat it, it was yummy - good job he'd eaten the rest or I would have scoffed it!;)

    Been good today so far

breakfast - 2 x wholemeal toasts(small slices) reduce sugar marmalade

snack 1 x banana + small slice of SW weetabix cake(was out carbooting and needed sustenance!;) )

lunch - HM butternut squash and sweet potato soup + wholemeal toast.

For dinner we are having gammon, new pots, veggies and cheese sauce made with skimmed milk. Will probably have a yoghurt for supper.

To the person who had 1 weetabix for brekky - thats not enough! its important to eat enough food or your body goes into starvation mode and hangs onto all your calories and you wont lose weight! your body needs fuel to work just make sure it has plenty of the right sort of fuel!

    Have a good day all

    take care xx

Some of us would love big boobies - I can only just fill a 34B:cry: I'm a definite pear-shape!:rolleyes2
Dutchy - I would love to run, I've tried several time but just can't get on with it :o I can walk, cycle, swim but running... think I'm just the wrong shape for it!!
I've not done bad today, brekkie was a potato scone with dryfried mushrooms and a poached egg. Then we went to the allotment so I've done 3 hours hard graft and come home to a cheese and beetroot buttie on OH's home made granary bread.
Spent the afternoon cooking - still haven't defrosted the freezer  but have made lentil sausages for in the week and a big pan of parsnip leek and ginger stew (should do us 2 or 3 meals) and I'm just off now to prepare my Christmas mincemeat ready to pot up tomorrow night - promise not to nibble the fruit and will only sniff the brandy :D

Well done to all the losers - keep it up :T :T :T

    How cruel rockie.....

My fave sandwhich in the whole world would have to be... nice , slightly warm HM bread, with butter (non of this marge stuff), a bit of mature cheddar and some still warm fresh beetroot....mmmmm heaven

I still have some mincemeat left from what i made lat year :T ... and have the most stunning xmas cake recipe... just waiting to see if my mum and 1 brother are over for xmas ...if not im only making a tiny cake....not sure if i could trust myself with a big one  ..... but have to make my individual xmas puds....i could quite happily not bother with xmas dinner...as long as i could have my pud...with cream:p ..... i even use butter in them :rotfl: work out much lighter than using suet....

    Afternoon all,

Slept late, had an apple and around 1 OH made an omelette...4 eggs, onion, salami, celery and tomatoes, had half with slice bread and butter, boiled water. Have since had two very small sweet crab apples.

Going to brother for dinner...probably steak, baked potatoes and stir fried veg, he's not a pudding person so maybe some more fruit or salad

For supper have promised myself another piece of cheesecake....came from Avoca shop and cost €15.00(c £10!)...she forgot to take off price tag, so can't let it go in bin!

Frogga will just have a look in the morning to see how well your weigh in has gone...then see you all on 9th, good luck in the meantime

Well MrsM, it was yesterday's bread with marge, wenslydale and the last of the beetroot that I roasted last week but still tasty!;)
I could eat beetroot until the cow's come home I love the stuff - minus vinegar though, it ruins it!
As for the christmas cake, I'll make mine in a few weeks, I don't like it, just enjoy making and icing them :rotfl: OH eats it all (he's the skinny type that never puts weight on  )

    Evening everyone :D

Meanmarie..that sounds like one heck of a cheesecake:D ...bet it tastes gorgeous.. but 15euro:eek: ...don't blame your friend for leaving the price on ;) I would have framed it:p ... Hope you are off somewhere nice.

Taplady.... glad you got your piece of choc... quite good of hubby to save you the last piece..cos then you have to stop at one...no temptation that way :T

Hi Toonie...great that BF is on side with you..makes life soooo much easier - my hubby has lost 7lb without trying.. mind you he does a lot of PT with work, golfs, 10 pin bowls....oh and never has to think about food as he just eats what is put in front of him:rolleyes: .. still he is a great support bless him:D

Good luck for the morning frogga..and anyone else weighing in :T

Well i got the bread made, 57 sausages, have a casserole in the SC that will get finished n frozen tomorrow -peeled, chopped n blanched 3 kilo of carrots..now have orange hands :p and have another bag to do in the morning... at roughly 70p for 3 kilo i couldn't refuse.... running out of room in the overflow freezer though:confused: .

    Had my yoghurt for brekkie
HM pork, veg + barley pie with veg for lunch/dinner.... it was smack in between the 2 so it did for both..
    had an apple
oh and loads of carots whilst i was peeling n chopping... was so stuffed by the time i was done :p

Only 9:30pm and don't think i'm gonna be long for my bed..... think last night got me..well for the last 2 nights the next door neighbours have been stood outside at around 3AM  talking really loudlyand then again about 4AM....and its not the first time either:mad: .... not a happy bunny... and then hubby -who always snores (and usually i find it reassuring) only he was doing an impression of a warthog with its head in a metal dustbin lastnight:wall: ..... so i got up when hubby got up to go golfing -7:15AM  .. and i don't know why but i really needed to have Bon Jovi on a touch too loud (if there is such a thing);) ...and in all my confussion through lack of sleep, i kept forgetting stuff from upstairs - so had to run up n down quite a bit... i forgot that their bedroom backs onto our stairs ;) ... i was good though as i kept our bathroom door shut, as their little ones bedroom is on the other side of it...didn't want to wake him-not that they seem to mind doing so.... ...if we have the same performance tonight i will be in the spare room out of the way....

well enough moaning...have a good evening everyone and fingers crossed for those doing you know what in the morning :D
