I ate a small box of Chocolate Brazils yesterday while sorting out my bedroom instead of stopping for tea - am I sacked?

Mrs M - you are really an inspiration the way you have coped food wise - at this rate you will be super slim by summer!
I have to agree with you rec-spendaholic here. It was thinking about MrsM's post about giving away her chocolate and biscuit presents that made me rethink my haribo gift yesterday. And don't I feel better for doing it.
Eating has been much better today and yesterday. Had a normal chicken roast yesterday eating probably only half the portion I normally would. (generally like my plate filled edge to edge.) I only had chicken breast which is a miracle for me. I have been known to skin a chicken and eat all that lovely crunchiness within 30 secs before anyone spots me.
Today I've had:
Slice buttered bara brinth (ok not great)
Lemon pasta lunch with tomatoes, spinach and olives
4 brazil nuts
1 large banana
2 finger kit kat (father forced it down me. )
I'm just about to have 2 clementines while finishing watch Hetty Wainthroppe.
Have to go for a late night trip to OH's works office as he forgot to post his timesheet and we need paying. The boys are coming with us after we've been to visit friends tonight and are having chips in the car for the journey. I can resist, I can resist......AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £115.93/ £250

Hello everybody,
Frogga...is it possible that you and Mr F agree that you can have his car when you need it for something for the children ...or say one day per week in winter time so that you can arrange appointments/treats for that one day and then increase the number of days you can have it per week during spring/summer/autumn? If not I would keep my car as you are the one who cycles to work and makes the physical sacrifice in order to save money, so a car for when you need it is not a big luxury while your tadpoles are young...in a couple of years you can all three cycle to beach etc. Third option of course is that you get a side car for the motorbike and use it for tadpole trips ????
Had porridge, orange juice, banana, honey and milk for breakfast; two slices of Grannybroon's delicious Dundee cake for lunch with tea and am just about to make spaghetti bolognese for dinner so if I can keep off the chocs will be happy enough!
Happy New Year all, safe journey Mrs MC

Thanks for all the replys re: the Car Problem.
I have decieded it's defo going to go! Mr Frog can do all the work so I know we are doing it as cheep as poss . Trouble is , this year it will need alot of welding, about £150 even if Mr Frog does it, also new exhaust and lots of other small bits that will all add up. There comes a point when even Mr Frog can't do anymore! No, my mind is made up. I think you are right Gran , I just have to be more organised and can take Mr Frog to work on the days that we do need the car. The beach is only 6 miles away and both Tadpoles have said they'd like to bike so I guess it's worth giving it a try. If the worse comes to it I'll just have to get another run around next year.
As much as it sticks in my throat to say it, I agree with the praise for MrsM and feel that as she and Taplady have done SO well this year they should both be our joint "O/S Slimmers of the Year":T Well done Ladies, you put me to shame. Hya Folks, well, I have had the weigh in today rather than tomorrow, and I have stayed the same over the past two weeks...shock horror! This could well be due to feeling ill and not eating much over the festive period, though I have been rather over-doing it the past couple of days...just catching up!
So 2008 is definitely going to be a good weight-loss year, for all of us!
Have been pretty good today, apart from a couple of pieces of HM Christmas cake...hopefully DH and my two boys will finish it off soon...it is soooo goood!
Food today:
Breakfast: Special K, Soya milk and OJ
Lunch: Poached egg on toast, plus one slice of Xmas cake
break: More Xmas cake (!!)
Tea: Poached salmon, potatoes and veggies
Must make some sugar-free jellies up so I have something good to eat when I get the munchies.
Have a good night those of you that are staying up to see the New Year in, not sure if I will manage it, but we'll see.
:beer:HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Hi everyone, can I join you?
I was soooo glad to see a weightloss thread on os, I have been a bit 'awol' for a month or so, but started a diet 5 weeks ago, I have done well and lost 10lbs (but put 3 back on this past 2 weeks) but still glad I started when I did as otherwise I would have probably had even more to lose to start with iyswim..I don't have loads to lose ony about half a stone or more, but I have put on a stone and a half in the past year or so and thought I had better get sorted now rather than ending up with a bigger job on my hands..
Happy New Year to you all and hope we all have a great 2008...
p.s. Frogga, been reading about your car issue and think you have really made up your mind now, like you said, you will need to be organised..and you are bound to get more exercise without thinking about it.....You could always think about getting a car sometime in the future (especially as the one you have now is on the way out anyway)Jun GC £250.00/£12.40 NSD 3 / 30
