Kittyscarlett- Thanks for the recipe tip! I will try it with cornflour instead of a normal roux.

    Well, today's food has been
B- Porridge made with half milk and half water
L- Super naughty on the pocket but not on the waist line- Yo Sushi
T- Smoked haddock, mash, spinach and a poached egg.
Snackage was a handful of Honey Nut Shredded Wheat from the box!

    Evening all

just thought id pop in before i go to bed....got 3 huge bath shaped tubs this evening so i can get my onions and potatoes in ready for next year...will deal with all my salad stuff when we get back in the new year....im determined to grow shed loads again.. nothing nicer than salad stuff straight out of the garden mmmmm

came across a dreaded tape measure earlier..can't find my proper dress making one..so it was a metal one..but according to that i have lost over 6" off my waist, 6" of my bra band measurement (not a mm of the cup mind :rotfl: ) and 7" off of my hips :j .... if i can unearth the proper measure tomorrow im going to do all my measurements and check them once a month...i only thought id check as i pulled on my denim skirt earlier without undoing the zip or button :T

Mum has informed me that she has some scales i can have..mine are digital..but mum had some digital ones that remember your weight and do your body fat reading..but my brother decided to try and set them up without using the instructions and mum couldn't put them right so im going to see if we can sort them out :p

Kittyscarlett... i just think i HAVE to get rid of clothes as they get too big, as then i don't have that safety net off..well i have gained a fe pounds -but still have something to wear...i have some i got in the summer that i have never worn... but as much as i hate it.they have to go.... just wish one of you lovely lot could make use of them...but me thinks they will bury you :rotfl:

There seem to be all manner of bugs doing the rounds at the moment doesn't there?? hope everyone is better soon..

well i had better get off to bed , have a good evening everyone and i will speak to you soon :D

Hi all. I've been in super industrious mode today. Have hoovered, washed up, done all the ironing, cleared out the airing cupboard then refilled it with newly ironed clothes, had a general tidy up down stairs and cooked tea for everyone! I think that counts as exercise for today. I've been pretty good food wise as well. Weetabix with ss milk and sugar for brekkie, HM ham and cheese pancake and a mini stotch egg for lunch and HM omlette (left over gammon joint, peppers, mushrooms and 'tatoes) for tea. Sneaked in a small slice of bday cake for pud but apart from that I've been snacking on raisins all day :A

Kika - I'll type the stilton pate recipe up tommorow. Hopefully someone on here can suggest ways to make it slightly more healthy!

Tomorrow I have a two hour driving lessons. Apart from that I really have to make some more christmassy bits for my stall on saturday. If I get up in time I'll do some of my workout dvd. I'm still convinced I burn calories through concentration in my driving lessons tho :rotfl:
    I'm through accepting limits
    'Cuz someone says they're so
    Some things I cannot change
But till I try, I'll never know!

Morning Turbo_gran, MRSM, Frogga and all!

    Day off today!:j

Turbo_gran - hope you're feeling better now! mine wasn't a bug it was IBS, it plays up when you eat something your tum doesn't like! the problem is working out what it was so you can avoid it!

MRSM -good luck with your Christmas target! weigh in for me tomorrow evening, I think I've lost this week - not been weighed for 2 weeks so hope I'm a bit nearer my target too!

Still got a cough and cold and tummy not quite right again but I'll survive!:D

B - muesli - a nice organic one with nuts and seeds plus I added some dried fruit.

L - Jacket spud with cottage cheese and pineapple

D - HM veggie pie with cheesy mash

am out for coffee later with Mum so there's bound to be a little bit of cake involved:D its at the WI so all the cakes are HM:drool: but much healthier than mass produced rubbish! :D but will try and be good the rest of the day!
Am having my hair cut too so thats a bit less weight!:D :rotfl:

Have a great day all. will pop back later xx

    Morning all.

Feeling a little less :( and a little more :) today, thankfully.

Ate huge amounts of rubbish yesterday (crisps, fig rolls, twix, choc chip cookies). Serves me right for skipping breakfast really. Did go for a half hour walk in the drizzle yesterday lunchtime though :o

Also did discover Options Belgium Hot chocolate is really very nice and doesn't taste "diety" at all - not really watery either like some ;) So thanks to whoever suggested that one - will now be buying a pot of it! :D

So time to start again, again, again

    Today:-
    Porridge with raisins for breakfast
Lunch - (uncle ben's microwave :o) rice - don't fancy much after all the rubbish yesterday.
Tea - pork chops and veg cooked in low fat cream of summat soup (in the slow cooker).

Snacks - an apple, a packet of "Baked" crisps which are much lower fat and still nice ;)

Have to go out at lunch as I've run out of jumbo porridge oats and OH wants more shredded wheat - plan to walk if the weather isn't too horrid ;)

mrsm - I hate feeling sick too. Would rather be sick and get it over with :o

Well done on the skirts that you don't need to unzip :D I got rid of everything except one "fat" skirt. Then 18 months later found the only skirt that really fitted was that skirt. So since it is once again too big, will now be ditching it - or rather passing it on via ebay hopfully :D Then there
no excuse and no clothes to wear if I put on weight again - could be interesting

taplady, hope you enjoy the cake this week ;) Everyone should have a treat now and then :D

    Morning ladies:hello:
Couldn’t get on last night for some reason but I’m here now!
I was fed up last night, went to the docs for a medication review and he decided to check my blood pressure which was borderline high  so I’ve got to go for cholesterol tests and stuff.
Came out of there, 2 prescriptions to pay for, chucking it down with rain and I needed the loo so I went for the bus……………..£1.10 to go 3 stops!!!
BUT I didn’t pig, had a WW tomato tart (whoopsed) with a jacket spud and veggies then later on I had one chocolate digestive with a highlights hot choc drink.

Today I’ve had granary toast and marmalade for brekkie, I’ve got a mini pot of hummus and veggie dippers for lunch. I’ve got fruit for snacks and a packet of snakajacks for later. Not sure what I’m having for tea tonight, I’ll decide when I get in.
    Hope everyone's feeling ok/better today :A
