Afternoon Ladies,
I'm here! Sorry no post this morning ~ been having probs with MSE lately. I often can't get on at all or it's really slow. Never mind I'm here now!
Have you noticed how we seem to be dwindling numbers? Where is everyone? Has anyone seen RS? If you are struggling and reading but not posting ~ just do a quick helloto let us know you are all OK.
Have picked so much I can't be bothered to eat propper tea today

and I thought it was only me having problems with the site!
It's ever so quiet............0 -
I feel all bloated and horrid today, my tummy is like water. Look stupid in my jeans and have the hump.
On the plus-side:
Breakfast: 1 x crumpet, 1 x mini harvest grain roll w/ lime marmalade
Lunch: 1 x satsuma, SMALL amount of leftover HM Spag bol (wholewheat) and low fat ski yoghurt
drinks: water (w/ vitamin C tablet it), green tea
Dinner: chicken stirfry w/ noodles.
Not snacking today, as don't need it. Think I need to try and tone my tummy - the lower part of it0 -
Hi! I agree it is quiet here lately!
Newlywed - I did enjoy the cake, it was choccy sponge - very nice!:T
all the options choccies are nice but I find they take a lot of mixing up so i use one of those mini whizzer type things which does the trick!
have stuck to my plan so far for today!:j
off to do a few jobs, back later xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Afternoon one and all
Come on folks..no dwindling allowed:rotfl: ....we are in this for the long haul:D .... i think we have a lot of folks down with various bugs and things
We can't let it slide just because the festivities are upon us..... just a couple of weeks left until :xmastree: ..and then a week later and we are off to start the new year :T .... just think of all those lbs melting away.... the summer will soon be with us, and we want as few extra wobbly bits as possible.. so we need to try and stay focused everyone..come on - WE CAN DO IT
I think we need some pampering sessions, a bit of TLC to get us all back on track again....
well i have had a quiet day, not fancying my dinner as i have had quite a few clementinesyum yum ....... still it could have been worse - at least i haven't attacked and xmas hamper goodies
well i hope everyone is feeling better and more focused again soon..come on we will get there....
Newlywed.... my clothes may go via ebay in the new year too..they are mainly summer clothes.. most not worn -so anything i get for them will go in my weight loss pot i think...for re kitting myself when im done -whenever that may be
Rockie4... the cost of prescriptions are enough to make you feel ill aren't they  ..... hope you are given the all clear when you have your tests. Still, the extra weight you have lost will have helped your blood pressure :T so well done you
Taplady..it would be rude not to partake of a piece of WI cake.. when i felt ill the other day, i got a taste of russian slab
i haven't had it for years.. but i could taste it, and then someone on the site asked for the recipe..and so i have decided that when i go home to the UK, i am having a piece..i will call it my birthday cake :rotfl: ..there is one bakery that we always had it from, and if they have changed the recipe i may throw a wobble fit
Good luck with the weigh in tomorrow.... im sure you will be closer to target :T
well i had better get off..i can hear the box of clementines calling my name
have a good evening everyone...and hope to see all our missing members back soon-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -

Glad your cake was good tapladyI used a mini normal whisk for the options drinks. Will get a pot of it next shop - have tried belgium choc and cinnamon one and have small sachets of the white choc one to try yet. Will probably end up with more than one pot.
working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Hi again!
Newlywed - my favourite is the chocolate orange one:drool:
MRSM - when I was in the cake business we used to make Russian Slice - I wonder if its the same thing as Russian slab?ours was a mixture of cake bits - off-cuts and leftovers mixed up with apricot jam and rum then sandwiched between 2 huge swiss rolls (unrolled) and squashed. It was then feather iced and cut into pieces. Was very sickly but nice!had forgotten all about it till now!:T
TTFN xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Hmmm - haven't seen the choc orange sachets - will have more to try now :rolleyes:working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0

yumyumyum taplady.... that is the one
Its something i only ever had from one place..my dad used to treat me when i was tiny (yes..i was once tiny:rotfl: )... we used to go into town to get his money, do the shoping and he would get us a "slab" of that and a ham hock for lunch... then dad would put it on a plate and we would sit at the table whilst dad hacked lumps off it for both of us....no wonder im big :rotfl: as this was before i started school - and i still remember it... i just love it..but only a small piece at a time..im just hoping that they haven't changed the recipe ..but i bet they have
I used to love the choc n coconut drink...and the choc mint..ooohhh and the turkish delight one mmmmmmmmmm although it smells stronger than it tastes...-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
