    Evening all,

MrsMCC...so glad that you are feeling even a little better...it may be Frogga's campaign but there's something missing if you're not around...do take care though, as that kind of lurgy can keep coming back if you don't get rid of it first time round.

Frogga, when you and OH have put up your attic ladder, will you come and fit one for me, please, its a major operation to get anything into or out of our attic.

Really don't want to think about what I have eaten to-day, never mind talk about it...can I just say that the inhabitants of a small town would have eaten well to-day on the calories I've had! I also notice that there seem to be less days in the week than there used to be...it can't be Thursday to-morrow, I weigh in on Friday...aaaaagh

Madsmum...understand perfectly your eating 'cycle' for want of a better word...I eat when worried, upset, not feeling well or there is any disaster you care to think of...a happy Marie can survive on half a dozen lettuce leaves and an apple in the day.

Hope that we all feel better to-morrow

    Marie

    Yello everyone.

MrsM, glad you're feeling a bit better. I hate getting those sort of fluy things, they're rotten.

Meanmarie - I know what you mean...where are the weeks going?! I know they say the days are shorter this time of year but I thought that meant light not time!!

Frogga - Forgot to meantion yesterday, that M&S numeracy thing is to get on their graduate retail scheme. I flunked the maths test apparently so I'm not getting on it. If they wanted maths genius' only to apply they should have mentioned that! Love the idea of having to do a test before shopping online with them :rotfl:

Hmm, I haven't been to bad today. Nutrigrain oatbake bar for brekkie whilst in town cos I over slept so didn't have time for breakfast. Bacon sarnie for lunch but I soaked most of the grease off with kitchen paper. Slice of ginger cake. HM Spag bol for tea with an egg custard tart for pud. Oh and one foxes crunch cream :o Exercise was walking to and from bus stop and job centre and hoovering upstairs. Hair has been chopped and now feels much better (and lots lighter, hopeful for weigh in  )

I finally got my nativity set finished so pictures will follow tomorrow.

Frogga - where are you? You're normally on before me in a morning!

Weigh-in tomorrow but I don't think I've done very well this week but we'll see.

    Hugs to all

Morning Frogga , MRSM and all!

MRSM am glad you are feeling better!

Cookie - well done on losing at SW:T I think thats really mean of them, we're not like that in our group - we are always genuinely pleased for anyone who's put in the hard work and lost the weight!

just a quick post now as I'm dashing out soon but I'll be back later for a porper read of the thread.

Not sure about food today, havent planned anything yet but got lots of veggies in so should be ok. Hva e had 2 small brown toasts this morning with marmalade.

have a good day all, Frogga where are you?
    Do what you love :happyhear
  • Morning all :) I was going to say ladies and gents but although we *did* have a couple of gents we seem to have lost them ! come on out lads, don't be shy, we don't bite ! ;)

I feel in a rebellious mood today. I am supposed to be going to a meeting of a work related forum I'm involved in after I'm off duty at 1pm but to be frank I think I'm going to say " stuff it ". They changed the times so that instead of being partly on my work time it will now take up most of the afternoon, although I can claim the time back later I've had a horrendous work week and quite frankly I've had enough. I'm also sick and tired of not being able to get something to eat until gone 3pm, as has happened almost every day for the last week. Viva le revolution !!

I'm hoping to have toast, milk and an apple for breakfast, work permitting. The rest of the day - who knows ! I really need to go shopping, I have hardly any fruit and veg left in the house, to be without tomatoes and celery is VERY strange indeed ! Have a good day, all :)

Morning all (including frogga wherever you are). Glad you're feeling better mrsm.

I'm not so achy today, just feel very tired. Didn't eat well yesterday (or rather I ate too well and all the wrong stuff :o) but did manage to give the second muffin away instead of eating it too, so guess that's something

New day today. Hoping and planning to be better than yesterday - shouldn't be too difficult ;)

    Morning all :D

Im back and now we have a missing frogga

Up n shuffling around at last.... still aching and a little squiffy.. but its fading :T .....
Just managed to get a weetabix down my neck ..made it that runny i could have sucked it through a straw, but it was the only way i could get it down:p
I tell you how bad it is...hubby offered to leave me his bank card if i wanted a walk out and to treat myself to something...and i said NO  ....

Hoping to be back on full throttle for the weekend as i was planning on going to one of the xmas markets :j .. hubby doesn't get them...but i love them - its the atmosphere more than anything... will be giving the gleuwein a miss this year..it is so sweet i don't think i could cope with it any more... although if when you buy it you pay 1 euro deposit for the mug and you can either take it back and get your money or keep the mug... so if there are any nice terracota ones again...hubby may have to drink some

Well ladies...how are we all doing? xmas is nearly here :xmastree: Im looking forward to it as its going to be so strange not being at home doing it myself... although i reckon that it will make sticking to my healthier eating easier... i have even started thinking about what im taking with me for the journey :rotfl: ...and to eat whilst im at bil n sil - heck how organised am I :p

We are doing calais - dover so i think im gonna pack a pasta salad and a fruit salad for me and sandwiches for hubby so he can eat on the road..
and take some tubs of low fat cream cheese with us and some crispbreads and some other bits to make life a bit easier....

So glad that i had a freezer full of hm stuff to carry us through this week :T -heck i knew being organised would pay off some day :D its meant hubby could still eat well...without me having to get my bum off the sofa :rotfl: .. have just taken 2 hm pasties out of the freezer and will do him that with potatoes n beans for dinner.. think i may have another slice of toast with beans... when i have made the bread..im half way there...but its taking a lot of effort :rotfl: the house is starting to look like a squat but im ignoring it until im back on full strength -then i will blitz it :o

well i have just signed up for the december grocery challenge and joined the sealed tin challenge... basically it starts on the 1st dec and you can't open the tin/pot until the 1st dec 08 ....
I am determined that in 2008 im gonna carry on getting my weight under control, get as much saving done as possible.... i have figured that by the time i have lost all that i want to i should have at least £200 in my £ for lb tin... so next xmas im planning on buying the mother of all outfits.. its a long way off but when i think that friday will be my 16th week and its flown.it will soon come around... i have allready started looking at the "normal size" clothing and getting ideas of what i would like to be able to wear :rotfl:

God im back to the rambling again :D

How is everyone doing with their xmas targets? hope all is well..every lb brings us a little closer folks :T .....
well i hope everyone has a good day..good luck to those weighing in today and tomorrow..fingers crossed for all..... I have done no exercise since monday  .... still its only 1 week so im not going to flat about it..mind i have missed getting out for some fresh air and exercise..never thouht i hear myself say that :rotfl: ... i still have 2 weeks after tomorrow to shift the 6.5lb so its still do-able :p
will get off now..hope everyone is well :D
